Hotel du Ministère

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr angenehm. Wir waren allerdings nur zum übernachten dort. Es ist sehr gut gelegen, nicht weit von der nächsten Metro-Station entfernt. Ca. 10 min. zu Fuss. Es war sehr ruhig. Im Viertel war stets Polizei präsent, das liegt wahrscheinlich an den div. Ministerien, die dort sind, das brachte auch noch eine gewisse Sicherheit. Die Einrichtung ist Geschmackssache. Antike Möbel und Holzverkleidungen. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend.

quite location yet very central , helpfull staff , nice room.

A charming hotel in a very interesting part of Paris - just a short walk to the Elysee Palace and the Champs Elysees. We were able to walk easily to the set off point (Pont d'Alma) for the Bateaux Mouche which we very much enjoyed.

We felt Breakfast was perhaps a little expensive at 16 Euros per person and was not very imaginative.

The room bathroom was very good and the location was also very strategic. I think it is one of the best locations as it close to both monuments and shopping locations as well as the undergraound parking in madelene

There was absolutely no noise elimination at all. I got complaints that my child was crying at night. That was very frsutrating because it is very normal for a 2 year old to cry; I am sorry other people had to suffer but I didn't appreciate the complaint. The elevator was too noisy and literary shook the building when it moved. Luckily we only used the room at night as most of the day we were roaming around the city and the elvator was only used once or twice. The breakfast also was substandard, but my expectations weren't too high on it anyways. I leave that up to them to decide if it is an area of improvement

Location

Old woman at the reception is a terrible. Do not expect that she is help of anything, even with a taxi.

Staff were very helpful in recommending an excellent restaurant nearby. Clean cot for baby provided free of charge, cosy room.

Room was very clean and so was the bathroom which was fairly big for a city hotel. The beds were quite comfortable. Hotel staff was polite and helpfull with directions, bookings and taxis.

The first two nights we got a room overlooking the courtyard that was a bit dark. The walls are fairly thin and it can get a bit noisy at times.

beakfast is absolutely overpriced!!!16 euro is way too much. also, the room rate is expensive...especially considering how small rooms are....

The location, the silence

I think the surcharge for the breakfast is too much for what is actually provided. For 16 euro one can expect to have a full English breakfast not a continental breakfast, they could meake an omelette or have a toaster out for example, presumably upon request these might have been provided but there was no mention that this was poss. Another option is to go have breakfast in the nearby cofee shop
