My sister and I stayed for a week and we had a super time perfect weather. We stayed in the garden room which is at the back down a set of stairs through a small courtyard. So we could sit outside of our room which with temperatures of +29 was perfect. We were right in the centre of Montmartre it took us about 10 minutes to walk to Sacre Cour. When we sat in the courtyard in the evening you could not hear anything from the street noise very quite and peaceful. Coming from London on the Eurostar it was very easy to get to straight outside Gare du Nord was bus 54 which took you to Molin Rouge from there it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The bus system from there was very good and we saw a lot of Paris by just travelling on the bus. I would highly recommend the hotel with very friendly staff, and certainly if I visit Paris again will stay there.

Construction works just before the window since 8 am. It seemed like right inside of my room someone were beating the drum. Besides, the elevator was just behind the wall of the room and I could hear its every motion. Besides, the walls between romms are if they were made of paper, and you can hear every cough of you neighboors. They had other available rooms but gave me this one next to the elevator and with a window to the yard with construction wirks. What an attitude!

We liked the hotel! Location was great, near to metro Abbesses. The staff was helpful. There are lots of cafes, bars and take-aways around. It was quiet at night; we had a garden room and it was really great - to have a glass of wine in the evening. Merci, Moulin!

We stayed in one of the garden rooms. It was small but fine for what we needed - somewhere to shower and sleep after wandering around Montmartre. It was fairly peaceful given the location; the only negatives being that some guests were laughing/chatting in the small garden until 23.45 and there was a curious sound of running water in the room (but everything was turned off so where it was actually coming from remained a mystery). It was a convenient location for enjoying the Montmartre area. As noted above there was some noise from other guests using the garden area to chat/laugh up to 23.45. There was also an odd 'running water' sound all night in the room we had (we did report it but was not investigated). A nearby building was having some work done which started around 07.45 continental time.

It is located in a well established suburb. Bars, restaurants, takeaways, vege shops, fashion stores... Yet it is not too noisy during night (our room is on the 3rd floor). It is also very close to the metro station "abbesses" about 2 mins by walking. It is cheaper if you book the room in advance. The room is clean but a little old. There is a yeallowish crack on the wall and the toilet door is poorly painted. There is no kettle nor mugs nor cups nor instant coffee/tea.

Very comfortable small hotel. Our garden room was quite small, but nice, quiet and clean. Location was perfect for us, near Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge. Restaurants and shops just behind the corner and 2 metro stations within only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly, especially the service at breakfast was first class.

I loved the hotel. It was just perfect for our plans: a nice, clean, comfortable room to come back for rest and sleep. Is very well located in Montmartre, we found a lot of options around it and is also easy to get to from any place of the city and the airport. The personal is very nice and helpful, I had a problem abroad and they were very nice helping me with calls and fax. We did not used the breakfast option.

Great location - Metro a stone's throw away, wonderfully comfortable and well equipped hotel, friendly and helpful staff, courtyard for us smoking lepers!! (bravo Moulin!), excellent value for money. Nothing! Except that I didn't have a personal butler 24 hours a day . . . he was only available for 16 - not good enough!!!

The location was perfect for us 2 mins to 2 different metros and plenty of bistros, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep as well as food shops and boutiques, even a cinema and a theatre within 2 mins walk! The staff were helpful, polite and unobtrusive. The garden room we stayed in was comfortable and pretty quiet -just a little noise from the overhead room, no street noise - and having access to the courtyard was a real bonus - though the flowerbeds needed a good weeding! Not a luxury hotel by any stretch, but good value for money as a place to lay your head after a busy day or night enjoying the delights of Paris.

Very friendly people! Amazing location! Well decorated room and garden. Needs to be cleaned better. The room was dusty and needed to have a good bleach wash especially in the bathroom.

Got woken up at 7 by the workers. Hotel partially under renovation and it was impossible to sleep in the morning, which is by definition why one stays at a hotel!

The location was excellent! Very near the Metro stop and was conveniently located to many shops. Not a far walk up the hill either to see where all the artists hang out near Sacré-Cœur. There is a very nice garden/patio area in the back of the hotel to relax outdoors too. I didn't like that our room was near an area where the hotel staff was working. I was woken up by noise from next door, perhaps the staff was getting breakfast prepared for guests. Next time I will ask for a quiet room.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, we never chose the breakfast so cannot comment on that, the hotel was peaceful with our room opening up into the courtyard/garden which was well looked after and pleasent to sit and relax with a nice bottle of vino, the bed was comfortable, and cleaned on a daily basis with clean towels. My only issue waas there was no option to keep your valuables in a safe secure place and as your room keys are left at reception we didnt feel comfortable leaving our passports, money etc in the room and chose to carry everything with us.

Just what I wanted when looking for a moderate priced small hotel with an elevator, near the sights of the Sacre Cour area, plus very easy access to the Metro to see any other parts of Paris. Staffed by english speaking people who recognized us from the time we checked in. Good cafes, bakeries, groceries, shopping nearby. Very popular tourist area, but hotel on a quiet side street.

Location is excellent 5 minutes to Place du Tertre, 1 min to Rue Le Pic, close to Blanche and Abbesses metro stations Hotel is close to be an hostel. Don't expect a place where you can stay for the evening in the room and feel comfortable. It is nice to sleep and shower, that's it. Nice as a back up solution if nothing else available for the same price. Room & Shower was clean.
