Hôtel Du Moulin  

The rooms were actually quite spacious for Paris. I was travelling with a friend and we had a triple room with a double and a single. Plenty of room for all amour luggage and a lovely window onto the garden/rec area. The beds were very comfy with new linens and great pillows The staff were very friendly and spoke both French and English very well, so communication was no problem. The location is great with shops and restaurants around and a short walk to the Sacré Cœur and the Moulin Rouge. Great budget hotel.

Small but very clean room. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and above all very quiet for being this neighbourhood. We had a room against the backyard. Excellent location nearby Sacre Coeur . Recommend to eat breakfast at Café Bruant on the same street. Our best recommendation for this hotel.

Liked closeness to Montmartre area of Paris , only a few steps away to main Rue d' Abbesse with all its lovely shops , arts & musicians . Only a short walk from Sacre Couer & main underground. Good position

The first room we had was nothing like on the web site picture, very disappointing, I know its main city Paris but this was so bad my husband who never complains went and asked to be moved,he said not at all like the room he expected.In the bathroom the toilet was so close to a wall in front of you that you had to sit sideways on the loo !!!! not enough room even for a guy to stand and have a pee..... The staff were accomadating and moved us the next day to a larger room looking onto terrace garden courtyard, much better, basic & comfy but still not as modern as picture on web site. Breakfast area very non descript so chose to go out to nearby cafes for breakfast. Ok for a very basic city break

Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect position in one of the most beautiful areas of Paris. Two metro stops are just 3 minutes away by feet.

Nice place to rest your head at night. Staff was sweet and helpful. Felt very safe with a buzz-in front door and 24 hour desk staff to double check that people entering are hotel residents. Windows seemed to do a good job keeping out street noise and was generally comfortable and clean.

It was a little out of the way unless you're specifically looking to spend time in the Montmartre area of town, but if you're savvy with the metro it hardly matters. Walls maybe a little thin since I could hear all the footsteps of the neighbors, but I'm a particularly light sleeper. I think it would not be a problem for most people. Didn't bother my husband in the least.

Location was great. Close to 3 metro stations; Blanche, PigalIe and Abesses. So yoU can reach every little spot of the city. Staff was so kindly and helpfull. Room was clean&comfortabIe but the bed has wheels, be carefulI:)

Great location, never stayed in this part of Paris before, cool village nice cafes / restaurants and bars nearby. Not far from abbesses metro. Rooms clean enough. Nice "vibe" to the hotel.

Not a great breakfast but only 7euros and do get bread / crossaint bottle of orange etc so in comparison to how much it would cost at a cafe (10euro just for an omelette) its not bad. Rooms v small so if you want lots of space don't book here.

Friendly staff, good and filling continental breakfast. Fairly central location with ample restaurants within walking distance.

Room next to lift, lift noisy, person or persons arriving a 0300 hours for the tthree days we were there could not close a door quietly.

Friendly staff, great location near Moulin rouge and cafe de deux moulin (Ameli). Calm street, everything in the room was clean and cosy. Lots of restaurants, Sacre Coeur is 15 min by walk.

Close to the Metro and very handy for Gare du Nord. Exquisite food shops and interesting independent shops. Hotel was comfortable, relaxed. Clean towels every day, lashings of hot water, good shower and warm room which in the freezing temperatures out side was essential!. The hotel was quiet with no disturbances through the night. Looking after our luggage on the last day was indispensable.

Breakfast was a bit basic but given the tariff was reasonable. Nothing to dislike as far as we were concerned.

Excellent location just off rue des abbesses. 2 metro lines (12 and 2) in close proximity. Clean and comfortable room, large for paris, and well heated. We got an early checkin as arrived in the morning.. A rare thing in paris. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and has become a favourite.

Great location. Very cosy neighbourhood; cafés, bars and restaurants and specialist stores. Perfect for Abesses & Montmartre. No-frills, but also good price. Clean. Friendly staff.

No safe in the room.

Ideally situated for local restaurants and shops. A stones throw away from Moulin Rouge and tourist areas and metro. Gave us a real feel for the 'real' Paris. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

The location was excellent. Just a few minutes walk from both Blanche and Abbesses Métro stations. With restaurants and shops nearby, finding a place to eat wont be a challenge.

When the reservation was made, they charged me for the first night which was non refundable (even though it was stated Free Cancellation on the website). I had to ask them for an explanation but they did not responded to my query. I had to ask booking.com for assistance and that was the only time the hotel responded and ended up refunding the charged amount without any explanation. When I checked out, that was the only time the staff spoke to me about the issue and said that they decided to charge me the first night because they thought that the reservation was made for visa application purposes only (note: this was my third stay in this hotel). I was not satisfied with the explanation and how my reservation was handled by them.

Amazing location! Best places in Paris within walking distance. Close to the metro station. Impossible to find better hotel in such a place for this money.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - in the heart of Montmartre, but on a quiet street. Close to cafes, restaurants and metro. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. In our room there was also a small refrigerator. The wi-fi worked just fine most of the time. We like this hotel very much!

Popular loaction in Paris, Nice restaurants are near. Friendly and helpful staffs. Room is fairly sized and bathroom is newly renovated.
