Hôtel du Musée-Gare  

Very friendly staff. Very spacious rooms, and nice atmosphere all in all. Nice location in Mulhouse, with easy access to the town centre

The rooms were a little dated (but clean and spacious, not too much to complain about, especially when you consider the price.

It had a great location, close to everything in town. You could very easily to parks, restraunts, etc. Quiet area for sleeping. Nice clean room.

This is a beautiful building, well-decorated, and with spaces for reading in comfort, watching tv and even downloading e-mails. WiFi is free. The breakfast was copious. The staff were particularly kind and helpful, even when faced with difficult clients. I highly recommend it.

The blanket on our bed needed a wash and brush up. However the sheets were pristine. Since it there was a bedcover, this is not immediately apparent to management inspections, but we are assured it will be dealt with.

The room was large and spacious. Bathroom was not very new but OK, excellent vor city trip.

This was an overnight stop. Glad it was only one night. It was cheap

The bathroom was uninviting.

The room was really small, so small that il was difficoult to move aropund. The toilet (with a shower that had not door) wai 1,5 square meters and restructurted in the 50es, with no window or any air changing facilities. The double bed had only one reading light, right in the middle. The breackfast was orrible, jam and butter of very very low quaity. Far to much expensive.

Our train was delayed and arrived well after midnight. There was no problem checking in so late. We had lived in Europe for almost a year and had 8 suitcases for 4 people. The man at reception suggested putting the suitcases we didn't need in the luggage storage area so we didn't have to get them upstairs to our room, and he helped us carry the ones we did need. We were also happy that the (free) internet worked well.

Plus point: parking place included in price and about 5 minutes walking to city center. The bed linen is clean. We got an upgraded room, so they said.

Negative: When you come inside this hotel you smell the specific old house smell. In the room was even more penetrating. The room is decorated in brown which gives the feeling of a old styled room. On the second look I noticed the room had new floor and furniture. The blankets were old, in between you and the blanket was a sheet so you could see the blankets you wouldn’t want to touch. The bathroom was old in need of remodeling but clean. No breakfast included and seeing the hotel we didn’t want to pay 8,50 Euros per person.

Comfort of our bed: the size of the room: nearness to public transport, but not noisy in itself: a full display about the tram system, plus many other very useful leaflets in a rack, backed up by spontaneously- informative reception-desk staff.

Rather limited choice of food at breakfast (few varieties of bread, or of meats, for instance): the hotel did not really come up to the description given, especially as restoration work was still in progress, rather than completed, as the write-up implied.

Hôtel calme, personnel agréable, très proche des commerces et gare.

Accueil chaleureux par le propriétaire qui conseille de très bons restaurants. Hotel plein de charme à 2 pas du centre ville historique.

Hôtel dans lequel on est très bien accueilli. Excellent petit déjeuner. Personnel très cordial et serviable.
