Always from the main area but nit far away (5-10 mins walk) Very clean
The AC doesn't work so had to open the window during the night but very noisy outside due to the traffic The room is massive but everything is near the window so the other side room is very empty - made it very eerily
great location and good value for the money
location ok, not far from vieux port
thin walls so sleep interrupted by guests in neighbouring room
Close to grocery, restaurants, bakery, metro and sights. Good AC. Good WiFi. Near sights and Vieux Port.
Very annoying focus on handing in the keys when going out. Even unfriendly. The cars/MC and trucks drive very fast in busy Rue de Breteuil: dangerous as the sidewalk is very narrow. Somewhat noisy with open windows. Expensive not included breakfast.
Location was close to the old port and cafees.
Wifi and AC doesn't work. Staff wasn't helpful and bordering rude, the bed was uncomfortable, couldn't check in till 3pm, much nicer hotels for the same price are available.
Near the port. Clean room. Near metro
The air-condition was out of order. We didn't inform about it. At first, they gave a tiny room in the first floor. After our complaint, they gave us a new room in second floor, bigger (as the photo show) and much cooler
Spacious room, comfortable big bed
It's 3km from the old town city centre, where the attractions are. Only recommend to stay there if you have a car.
Location is good, staff is good
Extremely little room, no conditioner, not so comfortable, but ok for couple of days.
Location close to the historical centre. Very kind staff
Air conditioning not working all the week-end of July 14th. No chance to sleep with the window opened even at the 4th floor. The street was too noisy. No mineral water available neither in the Frigobar nor at the reception!
proximity to old port and town center was excellent.
We were not advised that the AC system was non-functioning until after checking in and paying for 3 night stay in advance! After much complaining and fractious arguing we managed to secure a fan for the room which allowed reasonable sleeping conditions. Management did eventually offer free breakfasts as atonement but the breakfast area appeared so uninviting that we declined their offer.
Great location to view port, comfy bed and good shower
Nothing really other than steep stairs if your in the top floor
No air conditioning, everything old and disasembling, poor breakfast.
Good room, good location.
A/c didn't work in whole hotel and they didn't inform before.
Clean, nice room, good location
I love the location of the hotel, which is close to a metro station as well as the famous spot in Marseille, the port area. And, of course the staffs there were very friendly and readily available for any help.
The air-conditioner is not working yet which makes the room really stuffy and warm.
- The bed was really confortable - My room(number 30) was very quiet - 5mn walking to the harbour and the subway
- taking breakfast with tv on - Light in the stairs was really poor and you have to look for in the dark were was the light switch.
excellent location, fast internet, very good value for money
rooms are not very soundproof
Location close to the Vieux Port of Marseilles. Friendliness of staff. Comfortable bed with white linens. Large window overlooking the streets.
great location to get to all the attractions, 3 minutes from prefecture metro e 5 minutes walk to the port area. friendly and professional staff, clean room.
I have to complain about the fact that we book a room from Thursday to Sunday and it happens that the hot water broke on Saturday and they couldnt fix it during all the weekend. Therefore we were not able to take a shower on Saturday nor Sunday. To my surprised we were asked to pay for the full amount of the room without a discount or reimbursement for this inconvenience which directly affected our stay in the hotel. The owner left and there was one of responsibility that could respond to the clients. First time I have ever seen this from a hotel service. The staff was in general really nice but when it came to a problem that directly affected our stay within the hotel, they were not able to resolve neither take responsibility for the hot water shortage.
Great hotel. Within walking distance of area attractions and metro. Staff was great and extremely helpful.
Good location , good sized bed very comfortably, clean room.
The front door of the hotel it kept locked during the night so if you are going out and in a lot of times you have to wake up all the time the night receptionist to open you the door.
The room was spacious.
The place is run down. The holder for the shower head had fallen off and had not been replaced so the shower head had to be held by hand. There were no hand towels and the bath towels were very small, had holes and were thin with wear. Breakfast was basic and not worth the 9€ charged.
Good location, even if a bit noisy.
tiny room, no place for suitcase, noisy and cannot open window because of it. bed without frame and crooked floor made staying in the bed an act of extreme balance.
Friendly staff, great location, comfortable, good value
