Quite nice location for those who's travelling by car: easy to go to any place on the French Riviera. The hotel is located on the bank of the river at the footsteps of a hill with a picturesque village on it. The impressive (from a certain distance) top-of-the-hill private castle unfortunately is rarely open for visitors. There are a couple of no-so- bad restaurants ~100m from the hotel (and even pizza to take away :) if you don't want to have a diner at the hotel's own restaurant. A small (5-6 places) and not quite conveniently accessible hotel parking is completed by a waste nice free parking on the river bank just 20m away. Free Wifi. Good tv. Not quite clean room and bathroom. A lack of furniture in the room, apparenly due to the lack of place in the small room (?) - neither wardrobes nor chest of drawers available, what is there: just a niche to hang your dress, a shelf and a table with two chairs. Small "night tables" deserve to be thrown away quite some time ago... Breakfast choice is very limited ("continental"), even for modest 7 euros per person.

The hotel manager/owner is very friendly providing quality services. The surrounding is pleasant with feeling of highly secured. The parking lot is convenient. It is easy reaching from nearby highway and not far away from neighbouring scenic spots, community facilities and shopping area. The hotel is value for money and highly recommended.

Cedric the landlord of this small, rustic hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful, made us feel very much at home, treated us more like friends than customers. Good food available (lunch, dinner) at reasonable prices. Hotel in prime location for exploring the region, and not far from the beach. Free on-site parking and even more free parking in the public car park beside the hotel (something you don't get in the more popular towns). Free & very good wi-fi connection. Overall very good value for money given the region is generally quite expensive. Being so close to the main road was sometimes a bit noisy, but didn't keep us awake at night. Breakfast could be a bit more varied.

Very basic, budget hotel, which we booked for one night because it is very close to the airport in Nice. This is a no frills establishment, but it does have wifi in the rooms. Rooms are tiny, and not the type of room one hangs out in. Close to Vence or St. Paul for a dinner out, and a short drive to the airport.

The hotel is an older building that is next to a river. The rooms are basic but clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This was a stop over for us so did not explore much in the way of city attractions. The hotel has a restaurant that had excellent food. Breakfast was also very good.

We stayed there 2 nights, very small rooms for 2 people, but for what is is, good value.. right in the middle of a small town, 20 min walk to the beach. Breakfast just what was expected in such small place, all pre-packed but did the job..

The owners of the Hotel were so friendly & welcoming. It is in a very old and pretty provencal village with a lovely river super views up to the old town. The small hotel is clean and the rooms are basic but comfortable. A hotel for touring. The table d'hotel was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable for the South of France.Not only would I recommend this as a must stay due to the good value.but my wfie & I are going back next year for a fortnight.

Good location, friendly staff, good value. For evening meal set menus were very limited, however a la cart was good, and good value for money Bathroom was OK but need a little maintenance work, also a little more storage of clothes

We stayed for 1 night and were happy with the free parking and very friendly owner - before our departure we received a lot of advices about our next destinations, brochures&maps - better that in the tourist info office! Nothing to do in the village in the evening. We ordered pizza in the only opened place around and had a "dinner" on a terrace near the hotel - not so bad after all! =)

The location was very good, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast more rhan sufficient; overall it was good value for the area. It made a good base for visiting the region. The bedroom decor was drab and sparse and created a poor first impression.

The staff was excellent and very accomodating! We never officially checked in. They just handed us the key and took good care of us the entire time. The restaurant owned by the hotel is convenient and good. The restaurant was frequented by many people who weren't staying at the hotel. The hotel has a nice riverside location. They had free secure wireless internet and parking. The hotel was a short drive to a public beach and not far from Nice. It was also very close to Saint Paul de Vence. The driveway entry is a very tight right-hand turn. It was easier to turn around, come back and make a left turn. If you don't want to brave the turn, you can access public parking on the river right next to the hotel.

Front desk clerk was waiting outside to meet us as we drove up. We didn't even need to get out of the car. Baby crib was already set up in room, and staff was super friendly and accomodating. Great location for walking around the local area. Nice facilities. Cute and quaint
