the excellent location of the hotel

The support and help from the staff was variable - one receptionist was paricularly pleasant and helpful but other members of staff were rather unconcerned about the comfort of the guests in the hotel and not particularly helpful or attentive

Rooms Too small. No air conditioning, Car parking a major problem for those with wide cars and difficulty in reversing

Location and parking

Breakfast was poor, with food running out without replacement unless requested. On two occasions out of four days, glasses and cutlery were not available until earlier guests used items were washed, with blame being put on to hotel being fully occupied. Despite a specific booking for non smoking rooms, one of the two rooms booked on my reservation was a smokers room and it took threats to change.

I loved that it was so central. We were also able to park behind the hotel. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the rooms comfortable and clean.I also realised that the price from your website is very much less than we would have paid at the hotel itself.
