Eden Montmartre  

For those who don't have a lot of money to spend for the hotel and don't care so much about the luxuries inside the hotel, this is absolutely a very nice option. 1. The breakfast is excellent (croissants,baguette/bread, marmelades, nutella, coffee,tea,milk,cereal, yogurt, cheese) and the amazing thing is that it is served from 6 to 11! 2. The location of the hotel was very good because the Jules Joffrin Metro station was 3 mins by foot so was the bus station for the 80 bus which takes you to the centre of paris. 3. The inside of the hotel and the room. The hotel has a very small elevator (2 people maximum) and the stairs are very old. The carpets in general, inside or outside the room, look old but they are vacuumized every day. The room is small, not very small, and the bathroom is o.k. The shower is spacious for one person, o.k for two (my girlfriend will disagree on this). No aircondition inside the room. I hope i helped, enjoy your journey. Good location only 2 mins to metro

Rooms very dirty. looked like the skirting hadn't been dusted for years.

Location to metro was handy. Breakfast was just enough to get you on your way for the day. Room was large, beds were firm. Bathroom could have used a bit of a tile scrub, but otherwise the room was clean, even if a bit used looking.

Not very much to do around the area. But number 12 metro was very handy to get into city centre, and if you want to visit Montmatre Butte, it is just a climb up the hill. There are some brasseries around, but not much other choice for restaurants.

The hotel was clean. The location is good; a few meters to metro.

We arrived at 9pm and the receptionist told us that there was a problem with our room and they booked for us another hotel. So late at night we walked for 15 minutes and stayed at a very bad hotel for one night. The hotel could warn us earlier so we could find another hotel.

Very small room Limited choice at breakfast

The hotel represented good value with a decent standard of breakfast. The sheets and toilet facilities were clean and the shower worked well. However the carpet in our room was dirty and the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a very nice hotel at a very good price. The breakfast was included and it was very good as well. The metro was 100 meters from the hotel which was very convenient when you were returning tired and you didn't have to walk.

Our double room was very small. The rooms with twin beds are slighlty bigger.

Location that enables one to feel life in Paris a little bit away from touristic pathways

The hotel was less than 5 minutes from a metro station. Very safe area and lots of restaurants and bars around.

We booked a room for 3. the room was too small. Not enough space to leave even the lagguage. We asked for a bigger room and we were told it was the biggest they had. I wouldn t recommend this hotel for a room for 3 people. We paid 560e for 4 nights. I dont think it was value for money.

Great location, close to metro and bus routes. Hotel offers buffet breakfast and free tea/coffee etc on arrival and during the day/evening. Also encourage guests to use reception area to consume own wine and snacks. Double glazed windows shut out all the noise from the street.

General decor was a bit shabby. Room got quite stuffy at night but it was too noisy in the street to open the window.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
