For those who don't have a lot of money to spend for the hotel and don't care so much about the luxuries inside the hotel, this is absolutely a very nice option. 1. The breakfast is excellent (croissants,baguette/bread, marmelades, nutella, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, yogurt, cheese) and the amazing thing is that it is served from 6 to 11! 2. The location of the hotel was very good because the Jules Joffrin Metro station was 3 mins by foot so was the bus station for the 80 bus which takes you to the centre of paris. 3. The inside of the hotel and the room. The hotel has a very small elevator (2 people maximum) and the stairs are very old. The carpets in general, inside or outside the room, look old but they are vacuumized every day. The room is small, not very small, and the bathroom is o.k. The shower is spacious for one person, o.k for two (my girlfriend will disagree on this). No aircondition inside the room. I hope i helped, enjoy your journey. Paris is a beautiful city, especially when you are in love!

The hotel was clean. The location is good; a few meters to metro. We arrived at 9pm and the receptionist told us that there was a problem with our room and they booked for us another hotel. So late at night we walked for 15 minutes and stayed at a very bad hotel for one night. The hotel could warn us earlier so we could find another hotel.

The hotel represented good value with a decent standard of breakfast. The sheets and toilet facilities were clean and the shower worked well. However the carpet in our room was dirty and the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This was a reasonable hotel for the price we paid. It was in a very good location for public transport. The staff were very helpful - and all spoke English, which was great as our French is very limited. Breakfast was included in the price, and it is eat as much as you like. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was good and hot! All in all, we were very pleased with our choice, but don't choose this hotel if you are looking for luxury. The breakfast area is very small and cramped. The room, although clean, could have done with a coat of paint to freshen it up.

Excellent location walking distance to metro, shops, restos and if you can handle a challenging walk - you can easily get to Sacré Coeur - the walk up the steep walks is worth the effort. Good breakfast offered for an extended period in the morning. Comfortable bed with clean, crisp linens Dirty carpets, paper-thin walls, old bathroom.

There was always somebody at the reception who was able to help us and answer questions in English;) Also the price of 50e for a double room plus breakfast was quite nice. Real city center is definitely not in a walking distance, one has to count on reaching it by metro.

Nice place to stay in Paris. Close to the Metro and Busses . Nice area for walks.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area, though small by some people's standards, never became congested during our stay. There are many places to eat nearby, and the hotel is only 100m from the nearest metro, so the whole of Paris is easily accessible.. The lift is very small if you happen to be on the upper floors. The bedroom carpet had seen better days, and the room could be hot at night following a warm day. Leaving the window open made the room too noisy. Earplugs?

All staf of Front Desk are fine while I stayed the hotel. The room is clean and facilit is good. Convenienece outlet is for only domestic. If there were international standrad electrical hookup and small electric refrigerator in room, the hotel is perfect under reasonable price.

What did I like - not a lot. It served a purpose which was an over nighter in Paris, but other than that it was poor. The staff were uninterested, uphelpful and terse. We had 5 rooms and it took us 45 minutes to get the key to the 5th room despite having asked for it a number of times and being told it had been given out. The rate went up when we got there and although it was only 1.68 euros per room it was still annoying to find that the "total price" quote when we booked was not what was charged.

Good location, very close to the Jules Joffrin tube station, with a lot of Cafes and restaurants which are open till late in the night (about midnight) so we didn't have to worry about coming late. Very friendly English speaking staff who are always eager to help you. The room was big and clean. We booked a room with three beds and yet it had space for the luggage and to move around. The room was made up and towels changed daily. It even had a big window which would open onto the street and made the room more airy especially at nights when it was calmer on the street below. The lift was terribly small and would would stop at 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 etc floors instead of 1st , 2nd or 3rd floor. So you would have to climb the stairs anyway. The size of the lift was so small I had to carry my luggage in 3 installments. The baby stroller just wouldn't fit in so had to carry it up to my 2nd floor room everytime. It is a problem in paris that not all tube stations have escalators or elevators and most of them are multiple flights of stairs below. The same is the case with Jules Joffrin and we would have to carry the baby stroller up and down each time. It became really annoying especially at the end of the day when we were really exhausted. Once during our stay we had our things all over the room and didn't have the time to put everything back into our bags so we left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door but when we got back, the room was still made up which really surprised us...
