Citotel Hôtel Granvelle is situated in Besançon’s historic town centre, near the River Doubs and the citadel. It offers charming, peaceful and traditional accommodation. Guest rooms have a TV with Canal+ and air conditioning. The water in your private en suite bathroom is heated by solar panels. Rooms are also available for disabled guests. A generous breakfast is served either in your room, or as a buffet in the dining room. Room service is also available. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Room was very clean and pleasant, though the two pictures were not, I feel, well chosen...and indeed could cause offence to some clients.Breakfast was very satisfactory.No other meals available at the hotel.

This is a lovely family-run hotel where we received a warm welcome, a comfortable and spacious bedroom and a reasonable breakfast. Our dog was welcome too and there was secure on-site parking. The location, near to Besancon's old town and restaurants, was perfect. Our bedroom was several floors up with no lift which was a bit of a problem for my husband who has arthritis. Perhaps this was where all the dog-friendly rooms were located but it would have been better to have been warned in advance about the three flights of stairs.

This is one of the best value 2 star hotels that I've seen. Hard to fault. Just be sure to reserve parking in advance if you need it, as there isn't much and it's tight. Can be hard to find in the maze of one-way streets.

Если не ждать от отеля 2 звезды чего-то сногсшибательного, то можно сказать, что это отель на 10. Чистота, приветливый персонал, удобные кровати, хорошее месторасположение. Если я еще когда-нибудь окажусь в этом городе, я даже не буду искать что-то другое. Есть парковка, есть интернет без проблем. В общем, мне очень понравилось. А тут и написать нечего. Понравилось все.

отель удачно расположен, есть парковка, но требуется обновление, особенно в отношении ванной комнаты. отель уютный, имеет свое лицо, прекрасные завтраки, приветливый персонал.

Nous étions au 3ème étage ; chambre et salle de bain propres, bien aménagées, confortables et agréables. Tres bon rapport qualité / prix. Accueil à l'hotel très gentil et courtois. Pas de gant de toilette avec les serviettes de bain, pas d'ascenseur

La disponibilité du personnel et son volontarisme pour m'assister. Les sanitaires sont vraiment vieillissants (pommeau de douche pendouillant, cabine de douche ne fermant plus, régulateurs de température très usagés)

J'ai adoré entrer dans une chambre chauffée, une salle de bains également très bien chauffée et avec baignoire, les volets roulants assurant une parfaite isolation. Tout est confortable et silencieux dans les couloirs et escaliers recouverts de moquette et les tapis de l'entrée donnent un sentiment d'intimité. La literie aussi est agréable : c'est une bonne surprise que de ne pas avoir à subir la classique alèze en caoutchouc que l'on trouve dans les chaînes hotelières classiques. Accueil très aimable. En revanche, le matelas était creusé à des endroits qui ne convenaient pas à mon dos, et j'aurais préféré un matelas plat.
