HI Hôtel Eco Spa & Beach  

The pool on the roof was a good little extra. The morning staff were particulary helpful. The rooms were clean and the ideas behind the some of the hotel features were of good intention. The beach affiliated to the hotel had great salads.

The hotel is a few years old now and is a little shabby around the edges. The reviews in the guides we used were outdated and the scene in Nice has moved to the port area and not where the hotel is situated (this is no fault of the hotel) but it didn´t have a particularly contemporary vibe. Coming from Scandinavia where contempory and technology are natural parts of our everyday lives the hotel services on the wireless front were seriously lacking and smart phone docking stations were only installed whilst we were staying there. We changed rooms three times, the first time as my partner was too tall at 1.87m for the bed in the "indoor terrace" themed room as his feet ended in plantage, the second due to the lack of international channels in the "techno" room, the third room had small glitches with the door lock and some confusion with an extra bed. Overall the hotel felt unnecessarily tired as updates could have been made in the few years easily to improve the standard up to what is being charged. It had the feel of a luxury hostel and not in a way one would want. The rooms were not so well thought out design wise either - as if nobody had actually "tested" them for liveability - drop lighting where one would walk, tissues faraway from the sink, shutters giving total black out due to some windows not having blinds like the others. I think the aspect that was most frustrating was the knowledge that so much effort had been made in the beginning but was now being squandered.

Le concept 'hôtel de designer' est intéressant mais n'est pas Starck qui veut ! c'est sympa mais pas extraordinaire et ne vaut pas forcément le détour. Lancinant problème de décalage entre le site web et la réalité. On fait payer cher une déco qui n'est pas à la hauteur.

Confort spartiate, petit déjeuner bio jusqu'aux assiettes en carton (!) au prix assez correct par rapport aux choix de produits mais présentation assez limite (petit self dans un couloir style wagon). Vous emportez votre plateau (bienvenue chez Flunch ! ) dans un patio très laid, petit, avec des cendriers donc un espace fumeur incompatible avec l 'Esprit Bio vendu (cher) par l'hôtel ; personne ne nous a dit qu'on pouvait le prendre à l'annexe, à la plage, à 5 minutes, vue mer et 5 € moins cher !!!

Di desing e molto particolare. Posizione perfetta, a due passi dallla promenade, 10 minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia. Sattf cordiale e molto disponibile

Ambiance design, cadre sympa, hôtel tout en couleur ( rare de nos jours) volumétrie et architecture changeant de l'ordinaire.

Restauration un peu légère...peu de choix au moment du séjour, absence de cuisinier

L'hôtel est réelement écologique, ce n'est pas une simple démarche. Tout est bien pensé; des couleurs, du désign, du concept...les codes de l'hôtel traditionnel sont rompus et on se sent comme si on était chez soi. Je tiens à souligner que la literie est excellente.

La chambre technocorner est tres mal insonorisé. On entend la circulation et cela est très genant pour avoir un confort absolu lors du sommeil. D'autant que le volet roulant de la chambre ne ferme pas entièrement, ce qui laissait passer la lumière.

Une super nuit, l'établissement est vraiment luxueu. Le personnel toujours la si besoin. Rien a reprocher.

Das Hotel ist ein gewöhnungsbedürftiges Designerhotel, bei dem das Design vor dem Komfort kommt. Es gibt keinen Kasten im Zimmer, man kann die Kleidung nur malerisch im ganzen Zimmer an Haken eines umlaufenden Boards verteilen - das Zimmer wird sozusagen zur "Designer-Boutique". Die Betten sind mieserabel und extra klein. Zudem ist es notwendig ein sehr vertrautes Verhältnis zu seinem Zimmerpartner zu haben, da sowohl Bad, als auch wc mitten im Zimmer sind und nur durch eine offene und vollkommen durchsichtige Glaswand vom Raum getrennt sind. In manchen Zimmern ist das wc zusätzlich noch auf einem Podest - quasi wie ein Thron. Leider gibt es auch aufgrund des Bio-Konzeptes kein Metallbesteck beim Frühstück und von Holzbesteck zu essen, ist nur mäßig lustig. Design und Nachhaltigkeit ist gut, aber das geht eindeutig zu weit!

Интересный дизайн номера, в нем приятно находиться. В отеле немного номеров, поэтому малолюдно. Приветливый персонал.

Лифт на 7 этажей один, и дождаться, когда он придет, невозможно. Из душа, который находится прямо в комнате, течет на пол.
