A nice hotel in a very good location, near a nice coffee place and patisserie. The room was cosy and the price was ok... The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom which was small too.

It was in a good location for getting out in the city. The boulanger nearby was excellent. Only electrical outlet was in the bathroom and barely worked. We couldn't use the phone to make a local call. Beds were very uncomfortable. They charged us for an extra night that we weren't there. Very noisy street.

It was the worst experience I lived, the room was very disgusting without any kind of clean. I found in my closet a bug trap!! So imagine how was the hotel. The recepcionist, never stay in the reception, he always stay at other bussines property belong to the same owner. I do not recommend that hotel in any case.

The hotel has a very good location, you can easily reach the most interesting monuments in the centre by feet or the Mètro. Our room was a nice double, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom but after all we didn't complain about anything.

This hotel has a very bad value for money. In Paris you can find a very nice hotel for only 25 Euro (per room per night) more. The room was very small and very dirty, the toilet extremely uncomfortable, the bed squeeky to the extent that you get embarrassed just to turn around in sleep. The elevator is out of order. In general, somebody sleeping here feels quite humiliated and pays 77 eur for it. How can the City of Paris, one of the most famous cities in the world, afford not to close such dumps down?

Nothing, booked 6 nights but only stayed 1 night. The helpful manager did give us another room but this was also unfit for habitation due to odours and general uncleanliness. Dirty

Comfortable, yet basic and simple. A perfect location for reaching almost all parts of the city. Bastille is just 15 min walk, 10 min by tube to Chatelet. Many shops, supermarkets, nice bars, restaurants and cafés near at hand. The hotel staff was kind and courteus. What is important for travellers with heavy luggage - the hotel has two elevators! Room walls and attic balconies would need some refurbishing, which nobody seems to be planning to do, but apparently it is a normal situation for Paris most hotels of the kind. We got everything we were looking for, although would have preferred to pay a lower price. By and large, it was more than OK.

I rrecommend the hotel for short city trip. The rooms which are situated to the yard are silent, not so big, but for good sleeping very well. We were satisfied.

Location was quite good although there were quite a lot of homeless people begging and sleeping on the streets. Wasn't impressed there was mould in the bathroom on grouting, the toilet wasn't fixed properly to the floor. Curtains and nets filthy. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean although towels were old and rough wouldn't stay there again.

It was advertised as being simple and clean, and that's exactly what it was. There were no surprises on the tariff, and it provided a perfect place to land after a day in the city. The location can't be beat - about 50 feet from Republique metro in the centre of town - and the staff were kind and accommodating (they let us store our luggage and use the washroom the morning before we checked in). People can easily spend twice or three times as much for a two-star hotel, and they'd be much better off here. Given previous experience of Paris budget hotels, this one is a gem. The neighbourhood immediately surrounding is a bit rough, but definitely not offputting enough to stop us staying there again.

close to center felt too cheap for the money: most lights did not work, shower/toilet falling apart, bedding too old and cheap, noise from outside and from next rooms, no regulated heating, weekends nights do not expect to get any sleep due to music and other noise outside
