Central location Can walk to Gare Du Nord from there. Nice interesting shops around and good food in some of the restaurants. Lots of music/ guitar shops around this area
This Hotel is open to the public whilst being refurbished at the same time. It is dusty, walls plaster is being repaired, floor is unfinished, communal areas have been covered by curtains as they cover piled up furniture and builders materials. it is like a building site. It should actually be closed till is in a fit state to open to the public. This is no way to treat potential guests. The state of the place is so poor we tried to spend as little time as possible in the hotel and we only went there in the evening in order to go to sleep. Hope you can do something about this and prevent other potential guests in going to this place for now.
(third stay in 8 years) Location is fantastic. Walking distance from Gard de Nord and Monmartre. We have a balcony room and sit and sip wine looking over the rooftops of legendary Pigale.
Don't have kettle to boil hot water
I loved the room itself. We had a triple room. Very comfy bed. At 8 months pregnant, I had a fab night's sleep. The receptionist the night we arrived was very polite & helpful. The ladies in the Kitchen were very helpful when the hot chocolate machine wouldn't work.
I didn't like how crowded it was at breakfast. Nothing the hotel can do except maybe space out tables or something. Also the wifi kept dropping out - it was free so that's a bonus.
- Comfy beds, soft pillows - a/c in the room was nice
- Small toilet closet that is not made for tall people - Keycard didn't work on door, so had to ask front desk for regular door key
Excellent helpful friendly staff, good location. Would recommned to others.
Good location, kids breakfast free, staff pleasant,
No help with luggage to rooms, floors were not level, no bar fridge, bath very slippery so think a bath mat would help, breakfast room very small, so difficult to get in and out, bit expensive for what we got and breakfast extra
The morning receptionist, he was nice and helpful. The place is a short walk from the Opera and one of the hop on bus stops.
A long list! In a nutshell, the other receptionists (especially the one on 1st and 2nd Aug nights) were rude, the hotel was under construction (no word about it in advance) which meant there were scaffolds in front of the room on the street side (on the first day, two men asked us through our window if they could go down across the room). They promised to put us into another room facing backwards because we did not feel safe this way, but instead of the room they promised (305) they gave us one on the sixth floor (the tiny lift only goes up to floor 4, from there on you walk up on narrow steps to the room). In the room, there were only three duvets for five people. There was one blanket in the cupboard, but the cleaners took that away as well on the third day. The night receptionist said they had no more blankets to provide. ETC.
I like this hotel , nice staff , Internet ,
Great room, great staff, not as bad as some of it's reviews. Great area with a neat vibe.
Not too much to complain about to be fair. Was very happy with it.
The location is midst a Red light area. It is surely not a family place. We felt it was overly priced, but as it was a tourist season didn't had much choice either.
Good location, especially for sights around Sacre Cour and Montmarte. Many restaurants and a carrefour within 5 minute walk. It was a good deal for a room for a family of six, even if it was a bit tight.
Location was not the best. Needed updating- very old. Location was far from the city centre.
some staff members were extremely helpful but others less so
Was a nice hotel.
Wifi pretty average - trouble connecting and got disconnected a lot.
Location was excellent, only 10 min walk to Metro. Staff were fantastic.
Pillows were terrible. Could have been a little cleaner.
Not able use the ac, staff had it off. Breakfast area needs attention!
The location was close to the Metro. The room was small but the AC was cold.
The first room assigned to me had an army of ants on the ceiling, good thing they accommodated my request of moving to another one. The mattress was old and thinned already. There was also no lift alth
When we read previous reviews we were a little concerned but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. It was one of the best hotels accommodating a family of five. The building itself giving a feel of Paris. The children loved the room and the decor was tasteful.
It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room.
Great staff, proximity to Montmartre
The location was good and the staff were friendly.
We booked a quadruple room, but ended up having only 3 people. They charged us for the quadruple room but put us into a triple room. I wouldn't have minded being charged for a quad if we actually had a quad, but found it to be a ripoff considering. Additionally, the towels in the room were damp, there was some sort of power between the sheets, and there was no soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For 127 Euros a night, I expected SOOOO much better. I will never stay there again and will let friends know as well.
Very clean and tidy.
The rooms were missing shampoo and soap. Although requested to the staff, these products were never refilled.
Hotel looks so different from the pictures on the website.
Friendly staff, clean rooms. We arrived before 3pm Check in and they were fine with it.
Although close to the metro, the hotel is in a rather seedy part of town surrounded by sex shops etc. ideal for my group of friends but not families.
the stuff is friendly, localisation is great, close to the metro station and shops
the rooms were generally clean, but on the day we've arrived we've found a dirty sock next to the bed :) and also we had a room for 5 people, but there were always only 3 towels
