Despite the central location of the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet inside the room. The location of the hotel is great! It is within walking distance to many of the major tourist attractons and everything was easily accessible via the subway system or Metro. The nearest Metro station is literally around the corner from the hotel - about a minute's walk. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best nights' sleep at this hotel than we did at 2 other hotels during our travels. The room was tiny, but clean and adequate for 2 people who were mainly out sightseeing all day and only spent the night (x3) at the hotel.

Great location and just around the corner from Raspail station. There were supermarket, convenience stores and cafes nearby. The hotel room clean and airy. Bathroom is small but clean and functional. Water pressure is good. Our bathroom has large french window which promoted good ventilation. It is a simple hotel that provides good value compared to other options we had during the summer holidays. Internet is good for one hour at a time. We have to keep on logging in. It will help if there is wifi instruction at the hotel.

This hotel was great, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great as the metro line 4 and 6 stations are direcly across the street, which made access to major points of interest and the airports very easy. There are a ton of shops and bars very close walking distance to the hôtel. The hotel rooms were very clean and not too small. The hotel was a bit old-fashioned in design which made it even nicer, my room had wonderful tulip printed curtains and smelled like fresh lavender.

The location was great with Raspail metro stop at the end of the street. Soundproofed windows, good airconditioning. Close to many shops, cinemas and restaurants on Montparnasse, which is a few blocks away. Had a fridge and kettle. Very small room, elevator too small for bags, stairs very narrow and steep (so if you´re not good with stairs, avoid). Bathroom had broken fixtures E.G. showerhead cracked, toilet was wedged in corner between sink and shower. Hotel has older furnishings and could use an upgrade.

Delivers what it promises. Convenient location next to a metro station with two key lines and about 5 minutes away from the RER station to CDG airport. 30 minutes walk to Notre Dame; Luxemburg Gardens and Latin Quarter are even closer with lots of nice restaurants. Hotel owner/receptionist speaks English, available 24 hours. Excellent for a few days to explore Paris. A bit old and unattractive but I guess that's part of the charm and is typical of Paris hotels in this price range. Actually I don't think the walls are thin but rather there is a hanging celing, that's why you can hear your neighbours much like through a stereo system. BU frankly, this was not much of a problem - I didn't really hearing them for a few minutes per day because, really, no one spends much time in the hotel other than for sleeping.

The hotel is located in a peaceful street across from a small park in Montparnasse, which is not one of the touristy areas in Paris - although the hotel is still central and the tourist attractions are stilll very accessible by foot or by way of underground (100m from the hotel). There are some good restaurants in the area, supermarkets are close by and high street shopping 3 blacks away The walls are very thin as this is an old hotel and you can hear the guests on either side of you.

We like staying at this hotel very much: friendly and helpful staff, air- conditioning in the rooms, small but coisy rooms, clean district. There are a lot of small french cafes nearby( the best american breakfast at " Le Gymnase" bvl.Raspail). The subway is in a one-minute walk.

very nice hotel - rooms are fine for Paris, clean, quiet. few meters from metro, 5 min from RER to CDG. VERY RECOMMENDED! zero space between rooms and so it's a bit noisy when visitors next door get in/out the rooms (but within the room you don't hear them)

Pretty good location(1 min to the underground station Raspail, which is the line 4 and 6, and about 15 mins to the train station, from which you may reach the airport cdg directly), hotel staff was quite nice and always polite. The hotel is really old, not in a good way. The room was extremely small, so was the bathroom. I visited this hotel in winter, there is no heating in the room, except a condition, but it didn't help in the bathroom, especially right after the shower.

Good location Kind and helpful staff Acceptable price considering hotels' prices in Paris Room's equipment need a little bit more care (I.E. heater in bathroom doesn't work, broken tissues dispencer, slack mirror) Quite cold in a room (air condition had limited time of heating and after that time it was necessary to set it again)

The stay was wonderful. This is a place with charm and history, and it is remarkably quiet. The staff were very professional and helpful: as soon as they saw that we had a toddler, they changed our room and gave us the room downstairs with a bigger bed, a bathrub and some place to park his suv of a buggy. Even though the room is not big (it is Paris after all), everything was designed very thoughtfully, so we didn't feel claustrophobic. There is a kettle and a choice of various types of tea in the room. The location is amazing. There are very good restaurants just around the corner, Raspail metro station, and so many sites are within a walking distance, yet, as I have said, you can enjoy peace and quiet at the hotel. I will be very happy to stay there again.
