It was convenient to what we wanted to see and do or to transportation to those sites. The room was comfortable and affordable. In short, we very much enjoyed staying there. There wasn't anything we didn't like, although we could have done with a larger room. But, even that wasn't really necessary and we were not in the room very much, except to sleep nights.

Good location, directly at two metro lines. Nice hotel staff. Hotel advertises free internet connection, which is true, but only for a limited set of services (e.g., web browsing and skype is OK, but ssh does not work). There is the option to pay for full access, which was not too expensive (I payed EUR 8 for 4 days), but still the connection was so painfully slow, that it was unusable for serious work.

The hotel was clean and located in a pleasant area. Right next to it is supermarket, few steps further eating places etc. I liked that they had trea making facilities in the room and ac which you could also set for heating. Me and my husband were traveling with an infant and we specially requested baby cot as promised by the hotel. When arriving nobody knew anything about the baby cot and they had booked for us a room where it didn't even fit. We lived 3 days like rats in the box because the room was really tiny. The hotel itself is very small, you step outside the elevator on your floor expecting to walk down some corridor etc, but right there are three doors to rooms, barely a meter away. It was rather funny. But the thing that annoyed me the most was the noise coming from other rooms. Maybe it wouldn't been so much of an issue, but we had a 7 month old infant with us and some random high pitched blabber from the neighboring room and banging of the doors really occasionally interrupted her sleep, which in turn made her cranky and her brief periods of crying i'm sure interrupted the other guests in rooms next to us as well. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because they wrote in the description that the hotel is soundproofed. Trust me, it isn'T. You can hear every word that your neighbors are saying, not to mention everything they do. Very unpleasant and disappointing. If this hotel truly is soundproofed then I can't imagine how it would be with "usual" walls. One more annoying thing was the phone next to elevator in the corridor which occasionally rang. Nobody ever used it, but it rang occasionally like clockwork. Didn't try the 10 euro per face breakfast, but from the photo it looked pretty poor and for that money you can get much better from some cafeteria.

Staff was helpful and friendly - someone was available at the front desk 24/7. Room was fairly spacious as rooms in Europe go. Location was good - we were within walking distance of Luxembourg Gardens, Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle. A few things in the room needed repair - light switch for example but overall no complaints

Very close to Metro station, Friendly staff, Clean room + hotel, Quiet, we had a problem with tv and receptionist immediately fixed it, efficient elevator, the neighborhood of the hotel looked safe when dark Room was quite small especially the bathroom, bathroom a bit uncomfortable, breakfast was limited though good - expected more choice of foods, ac can only be used to turn on/off air venting through central heating. Overall feeling - no general complaints but expected more for the money paid

This is a place with bohemian history - even Maiakovsky stayed here! This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to. The room is big and comfortable, the staff is friendly and English-speaking, the location is just near the subway. I loved the hotel.

Pretty good location(1 min to the underground station Raspail, which is the line 4 and 6, and about 15 mins to the train station, from which you may reach the airport cdg directly), hotel staff was quite nice and always polite. The hotel is really old, not in a good way. The room was extremely small, so was the bathroom. I visited this hotel in winter, there is no heating in the room, except a condition, but it didn't help in the bathroom, especially right after the shower.

The stay was wonderful. This is a place with charm and history, and it is remarkably quiet. The staff were very professional and helpful: as soon as they saw that we had a toddler, they changed our room and gave us the room downstairs with a bigger bed, a bathrub and some place to park his suv of a buggy. Even though the room is not big (it is Paris after all), everything was designed very thoughtfully, so we didn't feel claustrophobic. There is a kettle and a choice of various types of tea in the room. The location is amazing. There are very good restaurants just around the corner, Raspail metro station, and so many sites are within a walking distance, yet, as I have said, you can enjoy peace and quiet at the hotel. I will be very happy to stay there again.

Location and our garden room had excellent ambience. Nice to find a bar fridge in European hotel, only the second time I've seen one in Europe. Doonas on beds , I'd prefer a light blanket in hot weather, but this was the same at every European hotel we stayed at.

The hotel is placed just across the Raspail metro station with 2 lines (4 and 6). It is very easy to reach the main objectifs. The area is quiet, supermarket at 50 meters. The room was clean, breakfast good enough (french type, meaning croissants, some cheese, yogurt and coffee/milk/orange juice). Nice staff, very polite. Free internet. Over all, a good place to crash after a day of walking. As most of Paris hotels, the room is very small. Everything is small, room, bathroom, stairs, elevator, lobby area, restaurant. If you dont mind this, it's a very conveninet hotel.
