Hôtel Juana  

It is a beautiful 1930's building lovingly restored.very comfortable beds and well designed bathroom.

We booked a classic room; when we first saw it; we noticed the awful depressing sideways view. We asked if there was another room available and were offered a seaview room at a much higher price which we took. Anyone booking this hotel needs to be sure of what they are getting!

Hotel was certainly not the 4/5 star quality it is marketing itself to be. Room was dated , grubby and bathroom had mouldy tiles. All reception and pool areas needed maintenance. Leaking roof onto the stairs which was dangerous and fixed only when we complained. Management aware of our complaints but poor attitude to customer service. Reception staff pleasant. Understaffed in the restaurant - complete muddle over our food order and one meal was left in a warm room to wait unti other diners had completed their starters and main courses were served. Choose another hotel!

The location is really good: close to city center, casino, beach. Yet, it's a little bit noisy at nights (teenages passing by after midnight) and early in the morning

Room cleaning services could have been better for the money the hotel charges. Towels and linen could have been renewed.

On arrival we were told we had been "up-graded" to a junior suite. If this was an upgrade, I dread to think what the original room was like!! This junior suite looked like it was in the middle of a refurbishment and as it was a busy time, they had decided to use it before it had been finished. The bathroom - although extremely small - was finished to a high standard except it was missing the shower screen so if the shower was used the whole bathroom was flooded! The "sitting room" had 2 stained chairs in it that looked as if they had been used previously in a doctor's waiting room!! There was nothing comfortable about them at all. The bedroom was extremely small too - and very difficult for 2 people to move around in there at the same time. Saying that - the bed however was quite comfortable. With hindsight, I wish I had declined the so called "upgrade". If you are offered an upgrade to room 208 - check that the refurb has been completed - although what they can do about the claustrophobic bedroom - I do not know!

Friendly staff, willing to help with reservations ,etc. The rooms are a good size and extremely clean. Good value. You can go to the Belle Rives Hotel . There is a charge for the umbrella and chair, 34.Euro, but you have the beach for the entire day and night and a restaurant that serves good food.

I liked every thing about La Juana, but the elevator is very small but charming.

The hotel is small and cosy. I feel very relax during my stay there even with the small child. Across the road there's a shady park with a playground and carousel - perfect place to spend time with children in between a beach sessions. The room is queit, air-con works well. The breakfast is reasonable (fruits, pastry, eggs, smoked fish, ham, cheese, GOOD coffee). We been using Garden Beach Hotel's facility for the beach - it's sand beach, the rent of sun bed costs 25 euros per day. I'll stay inHotel Juana again!

Prices. The "buffet breakfast" is tricky - hotel will charge you extra for berries and other food.

Staff was incredibly attentive and professional in every capacity.

Quite stylish hotel.

Noisy road at front. Built up area. Hotel well set back from sea front with views partly obscured by other newer buildings. St Juan is not a particularly attractive part of the Cote d'Azur and appears to have relatively little to offer. Roads very slow for entry and exit so not good base to explore the wider area in a short break.

L'estrema gentilezza e professionalità del personale e dello staff

Il parcheggio - pagato 25€ al giorno - di fatto era in strada di fronte all'hotel. Saperlo prima, ci potevamo parcheggiare senza pagare perche' non c'era nessuna indicazione che fosse dell'hotel

Colazione molto povera , pulizia delle camere scarsa , asse del wc rotto , tubo doccia rotta , mobiglia scheggiata .

Connexion wifi gratuite, piscine agréable.

L'hôtel ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles, le petit-déjeuner est fade et hors de prix, les chambres sont vétustes, il manque tous les petits détails d'un grand hôtel (pas de sèche cheveux, le mobilier de la chambre est abimé, ascenseur minuscule,pas de double vitrage, la literie est dure....). Les chambres mériteraient une rénovation complète. Le bruit de la circulation vous réveille le matin (hôtel situé au bord de la route).

De vriendelijkheid en professionaliteit van personeel zijn uitmuntend. Mooie kamers en luxe-uitstraling.
