The staff were very welcoming, friendly and pleasant - this was true of all of them and, as a long time business traveller, I have to say this is unusual. The hotel should be congratulated on this. Breakfast was also very good. Rooms were very comfortable - everything in the room worked. One problem - my friend's room smellt of cigarette smoke, as did the bedroom corridor on one occasion. No smoking signs were absent and are perhaps needed. Rooms were excellent apart from the small pots of condensed milk for tea and coffee - really not nice. Please at least provide UHT milk, fresh milk would be even better. It would have been useful to have a fridge in the room for keeping drinks cool.

The design of the interior was good.They had parking on site . It was expensive.You had to pay 5 euros extra for the car park.Our room was not clean,it looked tired.The room fridge had been removed and we were not told. The air con didn't work.the wifi didn't work in the room.

The hotel is clean and modern with good facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel lifts are tiny. Whilst there are good facilities on the whole, little touches let the hotel down from what you would expect from a 4*. For instance the choice of teas and coffees are limited in the room and there are no complimentary biscuits. Also the breakfast is expensive.

Very good location for city tour, few steps for Sea , Port and even rail station (Gare) only 5 mn walk. Friendly staff. Good Breakfast. Good decorated rooms and very clean. Must have a mini bar in all the rooms of the hotel, it must not be an option or additional cost to have a minibar in the room.

,We arrived at 3.30AM in the morning,there was a member of staff to let us in to our rooms,and garage our cars. The staff friendly,charming and courteous during our 3 day staynothing seemed to be a problem.we were there for the Dieppe Retro,so the hotel was fully of vintage car owners. The underground car park was a boon. The hotel has the bonus of being on the sea front

Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, nice restaurant with excellent menu, very friendly personnel, great location That hotel does not allow cancellation like other hotels do in booking.com (we were flying their with a single engine aircraft and if the weather had been bad, we would have needed to cancel our trip. The rear facade need refurbishment as it is full of fissures.

The room was clean and tidy and just what we wanted from a transit hotel. The food was fabulous. Wish we had stayed longer to sample more dishes. Looked a bit run down from the outside. Not very welcoming.

The Hotel was very clean, very comfortable and above all the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The location is just across the way from the beach and right next to the Castle and the Aquatique. It is at the quieter end of town so no problem with noise or anything like that. The Harbour is at the far end of the seafront from this Hotel and is probably more exciting with great amounts of al fresco dining and so on. From the outside the Hotel doesnt look all that exciting but its much better when you are inside.

“We stopped for one night at the hotel De La Plage on our way back from a holiday on the Atlantic coast and had two teenage girls. We had a family room booked which was large and clean and perfect for a one night stay. The Hotel staff we very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English and were a good source of information.
