Location and car parking facilities, followed by the restaurant. It was small and friendly. We did not use the 'free spa facility' and would have preferred a reduction in our room terms. We did not breakfast at the hotel, as it did not look attractive for the price. It was more fun to go out and purchase a pastry and coffee etc, at a beach cafe.

The lady in reception when we arrived was most helpful. We had booked a double room. The room had twin beds ie a room for two persons. You have to ask for a room with 'une grande lit' to obtain a double in the english sense. Your web site does not allow for this. However the problem was soon sorted with a minimal wait.

The restaurant was extremely good and we had a fantastic lunch. Rooms/bathrooms were very clean beds not so comfortable but ok. View from balcony was lovely too. We realise check in was 3pm but our flight arrived at 9.30am so we got to the hotel just after 10am. We had asked for early check in but nothing was available. We asked if we could have our rooms (or even 1) early and we were lucky to get our rooms just after 1pm (after we had spent some lovely time at the nearby beach). The receptionist let us leave our suitacases in the office for safety until our room was available and we did the same when we checked out at 12noon as our flight was at 9pm.

Room was big and quiet. Located between two road, quality of spa is very poor, menu in the restorant- poor, service in the restorant and qualification of reception girls. Bar was almost always closed, navette that they announced - never saw. 3 stars without any significant points

The stay was excellent. The rooms could be updated but the bathroom was very nice. The staff was superb. I had an issue at check out. I assumed I had paid for the entire stay with the credit card. This needs to be clarified better. Location location location. It was easy to get to the spa, easy to catch the bus into town and an easy walk to two places to eat.

Modern bathroom facility, good water pressure in shower The people who work there are nice, but there is no accountability or compensation if standard features of the hotel room are not operating, such as an air conditioner & fan. Maybe this is merely a cultural difference, but can make for an unpleasant experience. We requested a quiet room, and they reassigned the room they reserved for us, placing us instead in an ocean view room. At first we were ok with this, then noticed it was very noisy, as was right above the hotel entrance. Also, the fan and air conditioner did not work the first night, and the hotel staff told us they could not fix it until the next day. We asked for compensation for the mechanical failure, and they told us there would be none. They would not even take off the price of a bottle of water, for which they charged 4 euros. If your are susceptible to mosquito bites, bring repellant, as we had to open the window to get circulation, and my husband received 24 mosquito bites while he was sleeping. It required ant-inflammatories for the rest of the trip & he was very uncomfortable. The ocean view is not worth any price as the water is not nearby and that side of the hotel is noisy. There are many hotels closer to the city center than Hotel Le Biarritz. You can take a bus from the train station to within a block of the hotel. The taxi ride is a rip off.

L'heure de fermeture - 19h00 me semble trop tot.
