The staff are friendly, it is right next to the train station and on the edge of the town which was handy, the hotel is open at all hours so you can come and go as you like, and the bathroom is great, and the price is fair. There is a nightclub next door which was really noisy. I am a light sleeper and would have appreciated knowing about this. But in view of the price and location and the late notice at which I booked it, it was actually very reasonable. It is important to point out that this place is a no frills sort of place, and in its category I feel it is actually a very fair deal. |

The Hotel staff were very helpful and obliging to most of our requests and very courteous . The Hotel in my opinion was in need of renovation about 10 years ago it was tired and worn, over priced and the star rating must be assessed on a different method to that in the UK.......No more than 2stars max |

The location is superb - alongside the Canal Du Midi, close to medieval Carcassonne There was no hot water in the morning. We were told that everybody else had got it! |

The location of the hotel was a bonus, situated by the side of a typical French canal. If car parking at the hotel is essential then a reservation must be made at time of booking. |

Very basic continental breakfast. Very basic bathroom, with out-of-order equipment. Room view to very trashy rooftops. You have to ask for the air-conditioning remote at the front desk. I think that a downggrade to a 2 star status would reflect best the value for money. |

The hotel was very near the station which was ideal for us and near to the main shopping street and canal. It was a 20 minute walk to the medieval cite which was fine . The room was cosy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. No air conditioning and it was hot during our stay. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The acoustic isolation is not very good and noises in the corridor/surrounding rooms pass through to the room. There was also an annoying "door bell" like buzz going on every minute starting early in the morning and late into the night, which was very annoying. |

The location in the centre of town next to everything. Advertised here as having internet access throughout - it doesn't at all. Also this site says your card will not be charged when you make the reservation - also not true. This is certainly not a 3 star hotel. No bar, no room service, no internet, not even water on sale, old and poor quality decoration and furnishing in the room, the list goes on. |

it was well situated and very good value with friendly staff. decor was quite old fashioned, and furnishings were a haphazard collection, however this was not unpleasant. |

we were put into a room above the noisiest bar in town, unable to get any sleep eventually being moved at 2am, totally unacceptable, as one expects to get sleep in a hotel, or at least be given prior warning!! see above |

I liked the atmosphere at the hotel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Having a garage to park was a definite plus. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful ambience and the view of the Canal du Midi. Access to the hotel proved very difficult by car because of the complicated one way street system in Carcassonne. Once there however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the evening meal. |

Not much. The room was big. We had booked for 7 nights. We stayed one.I thought that the old station hotel was a thing of the past. The Bristol proved me wrong. It was opposite the railway station, nowhere near the Cite, the picture of which on the web-site made it appear that it was outside the window. You said it was an old stables. It was not and the staff said that it could have been a long time ago. |

The room was warm. The location was good. The staff were pleasant. The hotel was very shabby, I would not rate it as 3 star.no facilities in room for tea/coffee. |

I liked the proximatey to the Cite and ground transportation and restaurants. There was no handicap accessible entrance to the hotel. A suggestion for increased safety in the bathroom would be something to reduce the slippery surface in the tub. |
