I liked the atmosphere at the hotel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Having a garage to park was a definite plus. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful ambience and the view of the Canal du Midi. Access to the hotel proved very difficult by car because of the complicated one way street system in Carcassonne. Once there however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the evening meal. |

Not much. The room was big. We had booked for 7 nights. We stayed one.I thought that the old station hotel was a thing of the past. The Bristol proved me wrong. It was opposite the railway station, nowhere near the Cite, the picture of which on the web-site made it appear that it was outside the window. You said it was an old stables. It was not and the staff said that it could have been a long time ago. |

The room was warm. The location was good. The staff were pleasant. The hotel was very shabby, I would not rate it as 3 star.no facilities in room for tea/coffee. |

I liked the proximatey to the Cite and ground transportation and restaurants. There was no handicap accessible entrance to the hotel. A suggestion for increased safety in the bathroom would be something to reduce the slippery surface in the tub. |

Good location and nice views, shame about the tramps and school kids that hung around outside. The staff were very helpful and redeemed the hotel. The room was very basic and could do with redecorating. There was mould on the walls. A kettle would have a tea cups would have been nice |

We were pleased with its central location. There were a number of hidden charges such as: breakfast, value added tax and city tax. This increased |

Its position. On the canal side and near the station. Very convenient for all amenities. Needed refurbishment. Very shabby overall. Carpets stained. Breakfast not good value for price. Dining room curtains not hooked on rail properly - giving a general appearance of neglect. |

Beautiful setting near the channel and near the train station, the building also looks very nice the location is a bit far from La Cité... it would be a good idea to have a shuttle bus |
