near the beach. also convenient for getting to the ferry. Very small room, but clean - basic. On very noisy road. Staff recommended a restaurant about 15 minute walk away towards village. After 1 hour of walking the streets, asking people about the restaurant which no one seemed to know about, we returned to the hotel without dinner. Basic and unimpressive breakfast for over 7 euros. |

The bathroom/shower was clean and well designed. The windows were difficult to open and drafty. We were in the house across from the original Le Canada |

We were made particularly welcome by the reception lady who escorted us to our room in the hotel annex on the opposite side of the road. Our room was spacious, with en-suite and the usual facilities.. We particularly liked the large car park at the annex. No |

It was so awful, we did not stay in the end and found another hotel. When we arrived, the reception area was very dark and dingy with a nasty antiseptic smell - when we went to our room, it was os basic, again with the funny damp smell, that we decided not to stay in the hotel. It reminded me of bedsits for the homeless. We were not impressed as it resembled nothing of the website. |

Please see my comments on our second stay on 2 Oct 2008. Our first night on our outward journery was excellent. We arrived very late and were welcomed by Florence who showed quiclkly and efficiently to our rooms. Excellent breakfast. Coffee at breakfast was cold. |

The delightful and welcoming staff, Florence and her husband, and the really friendly homely, family atmosphere. Not enough parking. One large vehicle took up nearly all the parking space at the front of the hotel and we had to park over the road, which was difficult with the atrocious weather and 3 elderly people to shepherd across the very busy road. |

I believe that this is not a 2 star hotel, more a bed and breakfast establishment, as very disappointed with the rooms and facilities. The front door to the hotel is locked in the evening, and entrance is through a side gate and side door, which are both left open and can be entered by anyone from the outside. Also some rooms are in converted outhouses near to this gate and security is not good. |

Room was cosy and nice, very simple. Beach was straight behind the building. Hotel was straight in front of a busy street. Shower was extremely small (and we are normal sized people)! Breakfast was ok but nothing special. |

The room looked lovely. Breakfast was good - but cost extra On a very noisy road. Shower looked ok but very flimsy and wobbly structure. Water temperature hard to regulate, water did not drain. No definite parking space at hotel, unacceptable as car full of luggage for stay in France. Front of hotel and sign, advertised restaurant, there was none. Nowhere within reasonable walk to eat - in village with nothing. Staff unhelpful, full charge if we cancelled. |
