The location and the facade of the building
The following needed fixing in room 46 - Door sticking, shower head location, bedside light.
Breakfast - later than stated no air conditioning bathroom leaked and dirty tv way to low to hear
Very friendly staff, everything I needed. Fantastic location. Great !
Access to transport systems and local amenities - restaurants, cafes etc. Accommodation was adequate.
We had a 'superior' room but the bathroom door was glazed (ie see-through) and did not close. No tea/coffee/kettle etc.(as usual) in the room.
Near the train and tram stations.
Too noisy, because of these stations. Overall state of the room is badly maintained. Curtains falling, walls need repainting, shower door don't close.
Near the railway station. Internet terminal in the lobby.
Far from the shopping area. The decoration of the room dark brown.
Conveniently situated ideal for the station plenty of eating places nearby
no air con & in hot weather very noisy to sleep with the window open.
Nothing. Get a room anywhere else in Bordeaux as the trams are brilliant and there's a stop outside Bordeaux train station.
The room was not air conditioned. Overhead fan was a joke. THE NOISE was horrendous and closing the windows wasn't an attractive alternative as it was so oppressively hot. The bathroom was grubby with black mould in the shower recess and gross build-up in the overhead vent. Oh and the door was falling off it's hinges; I literally had to lift it up to close the door and secure the room. I ventured out to get dinner and was unsettled by the rough neighborhood. And the wifi didn't work in my room. I had to sit in reception (lumpy uncomfortable chair) to use it and overhead a poor young couple discussing their wedding planning troubles via Skype! Obviously privacy is not a concern to this Hotel. Horrible stay. My advice: don't stay here. Run!
The location was very good, easy access to the center of the city.
Sortage of hooks in the room, not even 2 towels per person. Had to ask
Friendly, helpful reception staff, with 24 hr front desk. (I arrived near midnight). Location directly opposite train station. Room well insulated from street noise. Well equipped clean bathroom with good shower.
Though I don't usually fuss about (or even like) air conditioning, it would have been good to have it if it had been any hotter. Street noise made opening the well sound proofed windows impracticable. Still the ceiling fan helped, and at this price one can't expect everything.
Location. Exterior of building. Price
The bed, room size andoky bathroom. Not a comfortable place.
I did think the staff were very helpful and the location was great
Did not like the room or price
Staff at the reception desk were very helpful. The toilet, washbasin and shower were clean and bright. My bed was comfortable Breakfast was served on the second floor and there is a very pretty terraced garden just outside.
Everything was fine except for the carpet in the room. It was covered in stains and looked really bad. The furnishings were basic and the room had no character.
Fits the purpose of a quick visit to bordeaux. Excellent value right on the station
Lots of homeless people around the area
Even though the staff spoke little English, I had no problem communicating my needs. They were very helpful and friendly. I will stay here again on my next trip to Reims.
Convenient location. Friendly staff.
Needs a bit of walking to city centre
The daytime receptionist was excellent.
The breakfast was not up to standard of other hotels we have stayed in. drug dealers across the street during afternoon and night
Location next to train station Generally helpful staff Very clean room
Noisy at night Decoration a bit shabby
Clean room, good location. Reasonable breakfast - very good price.
The location is wonderful, just in front of the station (50 mt), you can take whatever train in 2 min! :)
Location to bus, tram and inter-city transport - very easy for a new-comer to Bordeaux. Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast.
Echoing noises from busy street below when room window open.
Location ... Next to the Gare (Train station).. Breakfast time and variety of food ..
Wi Fi conection it's a missery in the night The room was not clean when I arrived to the hotel the first day ...
Very convenient for main station. Friendly welcome as we arrived early in the morning after a very late evening flight.
The rooms are small and basic but represent good value for money and no great problem for an overnight stay.
Ok hotel if you want to stay for little money close to the train station. The room was clean and the receptionist and breakfast personell was very helpful and service minded. The breakfast cost 8 euros, it's a small breakfast buffet but ok if you prefer to eat before you go outside.
The room interior was very dark, dark curtains and dark carpets. There was no air con and the room was hot in the middle of Jully but there's a fan in the ceiling which helped.
Nice room. Convenient location outside train station, especially if you have to wait a couple of hours after checkout for your train. Our room had 2 balconies.
Price too expensive.
