Hôtel Le Fer à Cheval  

Lovely hotel, perfect location for all the sights of Trouville, nice stroll to Deauville , staff were very helpful, the breakfast ample, homemade croissants really nice, would recommend.

hairdryer in bathroom was in awkward position everytime you turned round it fell off!

Price of breakfast had increased since we booked.

When our friends mentioned we were newly weds we were upgraded to a lovely balcony room. The room was spotless, the sheets were crisp and made of lovely cotton. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and reasonable. Wifi was free. I can think of nothing to write in the negative box. We weould definately stay here again!

Old french charm building but upgraded to meet modern comfort. Very friendly and attentive staff. Quiet and relaxing location. I would certainly go back!

I was very pleased with the hotel and found it to be exceptionally nice for a 2-star hotel. I liked the cleanliness and design of the hotel and the beautiful breakfast room. The house made croissants were delicious! It was the perfect place to stay during a solo trip to the seaside with my 2-year-old. She loved the pictures of horses throughout the hotel.

A clean and efficient hotel ,friendly staff and a great location with plenty of restaurants in the area .

The staff were all excellent. The rooms were quite small, but better than many others in a city hotel. The location was great & we were allowed to use the small parking area, which was not advertised, but freely offered.

Bed was too hard! Obviously a personal choice. We stayed in september & would only say that parking if touring, could well be an issue at busier times of the year.

Centre of town. Near many fabulous restaurants. Near all amenities,shops, beach, restaurants, casino, fair for children, train station ( with direct service to Paris) if needed, everything you could want including quiet for walking.

It was close to the beach and the center of town.

The room was very, very small. There was only one straight back chair to sit in. There is limited parking, so if you don't get one of the 4 spaces you have to find street parking and keep up with the parking tickets.

My second visit as I enjoyed last year's visit so much. Sonia and Virginie, twin daughters of owners, smiling, charming add to the ambience, as well as their Father, running in and out with more croissants at breakfast! Poured with rain most of my 5 day visit but I took local buses to the various seaside towns along the coast. And there was always shelter in the casinos!!! Planning my third visit.

No parking and breakfast with 10 Euro too expensive for the proposed things (no saussage or at least cooked ham or bacon, neither eggs)

Hotel is very well designed, has an excellent location 2 minutes from the beach and wonderful restaurants, too many to mention, but all very good.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant indeed, this is our second time with them and we will do it again! I stayed with my mother who is almost 80 years old and she adored the place and the staff! Thank you Danielle Champness

situation géo, propreté, courtoisie, petit déjeuner (un peu cher peut-être ?), idéal pour 2 ou 3 nuits, pas plus... et seulement s'il fait beau pour être dehors le plus longtemps possible !

confort moyen: chambre et sdb très exigües, mal insonorisées, literie très dure, TV: mauvaise image et nombre extrêmement limité de chaines

Chambre propre et couleurs agréables. Personnel agréable et discret Petit déjeuner varié. Je souligne la propreté de cet établissement et son entretien impeccable!

On entend tout depuis la chambre (voisins, personnes marchant dans le couloir) mais je n'ai pas été dérangé plus que ça.

La propreté et l'ameublement moderne. L'accueil sympathique et le petit déjeuner.

L'isolation phonique entre les chambres et le bruit des canalisations (réveil toutes les dix minutes pendant la nuit !). La salle de bain un peu exigue.

Les lits sont trés durs. Attention, les oeufs au petit déj sont en supplément et cela n'est pas indiqué.

beaucoup d'enfants très jeunes au petit déjeuner, donc beaucoup de bruit...on fait avec, mais j'ai écourté ce moment que j'aime bien savourer dans le calme...
