Le Grimaldi  

Siisti hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla rauhallisella kadulla, mutta kuitenkin vain muutaman korttelin päässä ostoskaduista ja rantakadusta. Kävelymatka tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin. Aamiainen ei sisältynyt hintaan.

The hotel was located in a central area close to all amenities, but in a quiet and elegant street. The staff were very friendly and unintrusive. Our room was tastefully furnished and larger than most French hotel rooms we have stayed in. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We intend to return to this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recomend it to friends.

Le Grimaldi was very well situated, close to shopping, restaurants and a few blocks from the beach front and the famous Negresco Hotel. The location was very quiet and our room faced onto a beautiful little church. We were also quite surprised to find available parking in the surrounding streets every night so did not have to spend unnecessary euros in a parking garage. Our room was beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and the service was good. Although we did not take the breakfast option, the spread looked very nice. It was also great to have free internet access so I could communicate with my family regularly at home.

The only major problem was not having a proper shower cubicle - the shower attachment over the bath did not stay in place when water pressure was applied and sprayed water all over the floor.

The hotel was in a good location for sight seeing, eating out or going to the beach. It was only a short walk to the bus and rail stations so travelling to other places was extremely easy. The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day to the highest standard. Our room overlooked a church on a side steet and was very quiet at night. I would certainly go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others who wanted to stay in a good, clean, quiet hotel in Nice.

The staff was friendly & helpful. Excellent restaurant with good prices next door. We enjoyed a lovely glass of champagne the first night. The location was handy to walk many places. We did have difficulty driving there, as the roads are difficult to figure out. We would definitely return! Hopefully they will have fixed the noisy air conditioner in our room.

My wife and myself enjoyed the 4 days we stayed at le Grimaldi. We will recommend it to friends and we will return again. Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable.

Good location. Good size room and bathroom. Great shower.

Size of the bath only fits midgets. Elevator typical French not the best anymore.

Our third visit to Le Grimaldi in the past 10 years. The first visit the hotel was small but delightful. We enjoyed the ambiance of the place and it is very central with parking very nearby. Our second and third visits in 2002 and 2011 were just as delightful and comfortable as before.

Le Grimaldi is close to Shopping and Restaurant area. Walking distance to Les Promenades des Anglais. Also not to far from the old Nice area.

The hotel needs renovation. They need to change the carpet and the wood baseboard and finish is very poor quality. We needed parking for one day, which was a Sunday, ask the front desk for help, no help at all. After 2 hours of searching for parking as our vehicle was two tall to fix in the underground parking, we found out that it was free to park on Sunday on the street. Front desk clerk forgot to tell us.

The location is excellent. Our pink room was very cute and spacious. We got a very friendly welcome upon arrival.

The bed was not comfortable. Basic items in the room were not replaced on a daily basis. The receptionist with the long black hair and glasses was intimidating and rude.
