Very clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

My friend and I both thought that the hotel was overpriced, there were no faciliities other than an inside lounge/bar which was always empty. It would have been good if there had been an outdoor bar/terrace and there was an area where one could have been. Even on a city break you need some down time and sitting in our bedroom looking at the sunshine was not what we wanted to do. Sitting outside reading would have been perfect. The breakfast was also expensive so did not have it so do not know what it was like. Pity this omission spoiled a good hotel. Perhaps it was geared up as a business hotel but even then some outside space I am sure would be welcome.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Grimaldi and decided to return for its tranquility and character. On both occasions the rooms have been generous in size and spotless. It is a very central yet quiet locale within strolling distance of all the attractions we visit. We regularly stop off in Nice for one night before or on the way back from our second home in the Var. I would stay more often if a loyalty reward system operated as hotels like Boscola offer. We have recommended it to several people and friends.

The hotel was located in a central area close to all amenities, but in a quiet and elegant street. The staff were very friendly and unintrusive. Our room was tastefully furnished and larger than most French hotel rooms we have stayed in. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We intend to return to this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recomend it to friends.

The friendliness of the staff; the size of the hotel, the location near everything

Le Grimaldi was very well situated, close to shopping, restaurants and a few blocks from the beach front and the famous Negresco Hotel. The location was very quiet and our room faced onto a beautiful little church. We were also quite surprised to find available parking in the surrounding streets every night so did not have to spend unnecessary euros in a parking garage. Our room was beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and the service was good. Although we did not take the breakfast option, the spread looked very nice. It was also great to have free internet access so I could communicate with my family regularly at home.

The only major problem was not having a proper shower cubicle - the shower attachment over the bath did not stay in place when water pressure was applied and sprayed water all over the floor.

A very cosy and romantic hotel with an excellentily situatied

The location was perfect, just far away enough from the action and yet still easy to access it. We had requested a room with a view of the church and we got it.

I was attacked by bedbugs at Le Grimaldi in room 603 on August 17 - 20. I just today returned to my home in the U.S. and saw my doctor, who prescribed 3 separate medications. I had to throw away most of my clothes.

The hotel was in a good location for sight seeing, eating out or going to the beach. It was only a short walk to the bus and rail stations so travelling to other places was extremely easy. The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day to the highest standard. Our room overlooked a church on a side steet and was very quiet at night. I would certainly go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others who wanted to stay in a good, clean, quiet hotel in Nice.
