visisted this hotel on many occassions and found it charming, clean and a lovely relaxing place to stay unfortunately, under the new ownership, we found the room to be less than spotless and the staff curt and unhelpfull:( |

they do not allow pets in their restaurant; the rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable, good hot water, i didn't price other hotels in the area |

The food was dreadful: all frozen. Price of drinks was daylight robbery, €10+VAT for a beer! Shocking!!!! |

The room was ideal for us - two adjoining rooms, a bathroom and WC. Breakfast was in a bright cosy room. No reception on arrival was a bit off-putting. Location was a bit grim |

Lovely restaurant with great menu and nice staff although the food was average and there seemed to be little interest in the kitchens giving up any of their bread. Shame they felt that they should charge for breakfast but the main annoyance was the charge for the travelcot - not seen this surcharge in my travels before. |

The hotel, although the rooms were quite small, was tastefully furnished to a high standard. It was also well placed for easy access to the channel tunnel and 'Euro City' complexes in Calais. Whilst the hotel was surrounded by industrial buildings it's location was such that this wasn't apparent - it was 'a rose amongst thorns'!! Because the hotel is shielded from what is quite a busy road it wasn't easy to find and perhaps it's location could have been better described in more detail. Although there was a 'hotel' sign on the main road it was only partially lit when approached from one direction. |

Convenience to reach Eurotunnel quickly I felt that meals and drinks were very much overpriced |

Well worth the visit just for the food in the restaurant.Excellent !!! The location could have been better, but that did not effect our enjoyable stay. |

The hotel is difficult to find, the rooms have good size also the toilet, but they need be a little updated, the shower was terrible, and the breakfast was really bad. The pettite is something that they took literal. |

The location between Calais and Boulogne gave us chance to explore an area we had previously just travelled through en route to somewhere else. |

The Lady (Owner ?) simply could NOT have been more helpful. She deserves high praise, she made ourselves and our wee Maltese dog most welcome. The evening meal was better than anticipated, for such a small out of the way place. Parking good too. I guess this hotel is used most by those 'in transit' between UK & France etc. On that basis the rooms are OK. For any greater length of stay, they would have to be consdered a little cramped. However, that facet does not in anyway detract form the overall hospitable welcome. |
