With lovely views of the lake and surrounding hills, Le Lac has a heated outdoor pool in shady grounds, and is just 330 ft from the beach on Lake Annecy. Guests can play tennis, ping-pong or make the short trip to the Lac D’Annecy golf course, just half a mile away. Guest rooms at Le Lac have floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer plenty of natural light, and flat-screen TVs. They are spacious and some of them feature a furnished balcony with garden or lake views. Every morning a buffet breakfast is served. In a beautiful location regarding scenery. Lake Annecy was so clean. We had a car and therefore we could drive to the town of Annecy. The town of Annecy was really pretty both night and day. The village of Tailloires was very small with only a resort supermarket no bakers and one restaurant that was not in a hotel. If we did not have a car I think we would have found it too isolated and quite. The hotel lacked any atmosphere and though the car park was full we did not see hardly any other people over the four days.

The best thing about le lac is its location in Talloires which is a very pretty village. The lake is within a couple of minutes walk and has a large park/beach area next to the shore. We came across this hotel by accident last year and stayed one night in quite a charming little room. This year I booked an expensive room with a lake view for 2 nights and was very disapointed. The lake was visable, but only just and by peering through trees. The room itself was dark and very dated. We also had a spot of bad luck as our car broke down on the way and we ended up missing our first booked night and only arriving in time for dinner on the second night. Le Lac were completly within their rights to charge us for both nights by the terms and conditions layed out in advance but.as this was something out of our control and we had contacted them by 2 seperate means ( via the alternative hotel we were staying at and via booking.com ) as soon as we knew we wouldn't make it, some sort of gesture would have made us alot more inclined to return. As it was it was, we had 1 super expensive night in a dingy room.

Lovely location, overlooking Lac Annecy and the mountain backdrop. Hotel was pleasant, comfortable and spacious. Good buffet breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.

Surrounded by magnificent scenery and a beautiful village. At the time we stayed (mid May), there was no restaurant service or bar as had been advertised and expected - although we did have an acceptable breakfast. There was little eating out choice at reasonable prices within the village and we did not wish to drive at night. However we were lucky that we could eat at the excellent restaurant 'La Forestier' next door as our only choice at affordable prices. I understand that the hotel restaurant/bar service was to re-open a week after our visit.

Proximité et vue sur le lac d'Annecy Nous sommes déçus car la télévision ne marchait pas, ancien modèle pas écran plat, malgré le basculement au numérique, la direction de l'hotel ne c'est pas pré-occupée du bon fonctionnement du poste tv de notre chambre 338, ce n'est pas normal compte tenu du prix des chambres. Raffraichissement à faire dans cet hotel (chambre, couloirs, tapisserie et peinture défraichies, odeur dans les couloirs... Dommage, car c'est un bel établissement ATTENTION BOOKING tenez compte des avis d'internautes, car vos informations sur cet hotel sont trop complaisantes.

Nous avons aimé la vue de la chambre et son confort. Le petit déjeuner en forme de buffet très bien.l'amabilité et la disponibilité du personnel. Le soir pas de menu afin de se restaurer .

Dit hotel is wat vergane glorie van kort na de oorlog.Het wordt bijgehouden maar dat is duidelijk financieel moelijk het heeft daarom dan weer wel een zekere charme hierdoor en de locatie met uitzicht op het meer (niet alle akamers0 is onvergelijkelijk mooi.Ken doet ook vreselijk zijn best om Uw verblijf p;ezierig te maken Nee als je weet wat je kan verwachtebn is het zeer de moeite waard nogmaals neem een kamer met uitzicht.

Endroit très tranquille, bien équipé, dans village pittoresque, proche du lac etde la plage. Il manque un rideau de douche dans la salle de bain, pour pouvoir se doucher convenablement sans mettre de l'eau partout et rester debout .La carte, au restaurant, est un peu mince. Un choix plus grand permettrait de dînerplus souvent dans l'établissement .

Sa situation dans le village de Talloires qui permet de tout faire à pied. Le premier étage est vendu comme " vue sur le lac" !!!!!!! La végétation empêche la vue... .à 159 Euros la chambre !..... Heureusement, le réceptionniste a pu nous changer de chambre et au 3 étage, on voyait bien le lac ! Le restaurant n'est pas très bon !

Belles chambres avec vue sur le Lac, excellente restauration, souvent très raffinée.Mais surtout personnel fort aimable et souriant - et efficace bien sûr. La présence du patron qui fait le tour des tables le soir est un gros plus, car c'est un homme très agréable,drôle et intéressant.La grande piscine, à l'écart du bruit, est bien plus qu'un complément au Lac tout proche. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer.A Notre sens, il est inutile d'aller à Talloires dans un hôtel plus "coté" et plus cher.En bref, un endroit idéal pour se reposer (de plus il a fait un temps magnifique).
