Excellent location, super lake views. Nice pool

Room was getting tired, and could do with a facelift. Breakfast overpriced. Bank holiday - Restaurant closed! Internet only in Receiption area, and had "limited access", so could not work transact with work effectively

The location of the hotel was superb - right near the lake. Our room, which was lake view, had a very large balcony which had the sun on it all day. The hotel was very quiet with no traffic noise. Although the hotel no longer has a restaurant, there is a very good restaurant in the Logis Hotel next door, where we ate on 2 occasions. There are also many other good restaurants in Talloires. The hotel is also only a short drive away from the main town of Annecy.The hotel pool & gardens are very attractive. The buffet breakfast was superb at a reasonable price.

Lack of mini-bar, safe & duvet. They did say that they may be installing mini-bars in the rooms next year.

In very pleasant village Talloires with good local restaurants and cafes. Spacious room and balcony with lake views.

1970s decor throughout. No drinks facilities in room.No shower curtain or similar so bathroom floods when taking shower.

Its was in a good location, not to far from Annecy and good access to the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it had a pool which was rare in that area. The rooms were big and kept clean.

It didn't have a shower curtain in our bathroom or a shower on the wall - made it a bit difficult to shower. This could just have been in our room but could be something to think about for the future.

We had an absolutely amazing 4 night break and were so impressed with the welcome on arrival and the continued friendliness and help from staff throughout our stay ( this included recommendations of places to eat, day trips etc) The breakfast was delicious and well presented, the pool and grounds were beautiful, the room comfortable, spacious and clean. We could not fault anything about the hotel or staff. We will be back!!

Coffee/tea facilities in the room would have been nice.

Breakfast was not god value as products quite limited, not very exciting

Helpful and warm personnel, unpretentious atmosphere, while maintaining standards. The staff managed to vacuum around our dog, that was no problem at all. Do ask for room with balcony.

No airconditioning in rooms caused rooms ro be very warm. Especially with rooms without a balcony.

Nice location near the lake, just near Annecy Swimming pool. Free wifi (limited to reception area). Free car park.

The location is good with lake views from some bedrooms. We had a balcony. Our room was quite small whereas our children's room was huge. The swimming pool and gardens were nice. Lots of guests around in summer but still quite a quiet hotel. Good, easy parking,

Our bedroom needed a makeover but it was cheap and cheerful. We didn't opt for the breakfast at an additional price.

The two bedrooms we had were lovely and clean, as were the bathrooms, and quiet. One had a view of the hills behind the hotel and the other had a balcony and spectacular views of the hills and the lake. There is plenty of space to sit outside, either by the pool, or under the trees. There is plenty of space to park (free). Breakfasts are help yourself and are plentiful with lots of choice. The staff are unobtrusive but helpful. You can buy a freedom of Talloires card from the hotel for a few euros which entitles you to free tennis, bike hire, entry to the local beach, entry to the chateau de Monthon and a number of other sporting activities. There is a ping pong table outside and the lake is a couple of minutes walk away.There is no longer a restaurant at the hotel but as it is in the middle of the village there are lots of places to eat (at each end of the budget spectrum) within easy walking distance (which is presumably why they decided not to compete). I think the hotel is a great choice provided you go don't want lots of bells and whistles and luxury and you ignore the initial impression of staying in a student hall of residence. The hotel has had quite alot of lukewarm reviews by people who expect it to be like some of the more luxurious hotels in Talloires - if that is what you want, go there and leave Le Lac to us!

Nice pool area and attractive garden.

Room was dated and the matress was thin and uncomfortable. The pillows were also thin, therefore we did not sleep well. The shower had no screen or curtain so water went everywhere.

Hotel rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable

Only cold foods were available for the breakfast, at least 5 minutes walk to the lake.

Situation

Rooms needs refurbishment and the Restaurant is closed. Only bveakjast availabke. Website must state this

The location was superb. No direct access to lake but the Talloires village plage was only a short walk away. Fairly priced.Well designed.Comfortable etc. Swimming pool much appreciated even with cold water at start of season.

Although Le Lac used to have a restaurant it no longer has this facility. Nor a simple bar. Although easy to get food elsewhere in village it would have been nice to have been able to order a beer ( eg ) to enjoy on their terrace around the pool. Or even a meal in the well fitted out restaurant..now only used for the buffet breakfast. I gained the impression that closure of restaurant and bar facilities were due to economic reasons. ( and advertised on the website as having restaurant if I rememjber correctly.) Though the hotel was certainly not run down.

J'ai tout aimé. Petit déjeuner super, piscine extra, personnel professionnel

Le cadre de Talloire, et l'espace de l'hôtel, vaste, avec des jardins, une piscine, des petits salons.

Je conseillerai d'améliorer la sécurité dans la salle de bain : poignées près de la baignoire pour se relever, et rideau de douche pour éviter de tout mouiller et de glisser.

L'absence de bar et d'oreillers supplementaires. Les problemes de reception des chaines de television.

La situation au bord du lac d'ANNECY, au calme.Le petit-déjeuner très complet.

Chambre certes propre mais un peu vieillote ( tapisserie, moquette). Je n'ai pas compris que le prix booking-com soit le même que celui proposé par l'hôtel en question...? ( 103€ ). L'hotelier n'y est pour rien par contre quel est l'interêt du site sur ce plan là ?

La rapidité du service

Une confirmation téléphonique que les petits déjeuners étaient inclus, ce qui arrivé sur place n'était plus le cas. Pas de restaurant. Piscine qui mérite une réfection

Chambre très petite pour un prix tout de même onéreux, pourrait aussi mettre une savonnette pour se laver les mains , il y avait juste 2 petits sachets par personne pour matin et soir ,faisant office pour la douche et shampooing c'est léger tout de même pour un hôtel de cette envergure. <sur le site il n'y avait pas marquer qu'il n'y avait plus de restaurant très déçus car nous n'aurions pas réserver, et oreillers en plumes (normalement interdit vu point hygiène) pas fait attention eu droits a des allergies
