Don't be put off by the building's exterior - admit I wondered what the rooms would be like when I saw the hotel for the first time, but was perfectly satisfied with the facilities and service. Quaint breakfast area outside.
Room was pleasant as were the staff. Parking was ok. Not far to main area of Avignon, about 10 mins away.
Breakfast was poor. Coffee in flasks and plasric wrapped cheese. Plastic cups not glasses for fruit juice!
great location, great price. friendly staff.
street noise, get an courtyard facing room. they charge for a lame breakfast. beds a cheap and uncomfortable.
Garden was so beautiful and unique. Lovely room and the staff was really nice. Location was good.
Breakfast could've been a bit better with some fruits and a bit broader selection of foods.
Great family room, the kids loved going upstairs to their beds. Nice buffet breakfast in the courtyard.
The room was hot (August). There were two noisy fans so it was a case of deciding which was worse, the noise or the heat. The courtyard area is a little tired but for the amount of time spent there it was fine.
Mattress was great! Position was very good
Breakfast out of a packet!
Staff were polite kind and helpful
The area and the condition of the building
I like the quadruple room my friends and I stayed in. It's clean with good view facing the long wall of Avignon, and beautiful stair up the beds I sleep.
Have some mosquitoes in the room.
Liked quiet situation close to interesting small restaurants
the much advertised garden was a disappointment - really just the large tree which was dropping leaves. it was rather dusty and unviting to sit outside and no one did.
friendly and helpful staff. good location.
no aircon, but no big issue.
Good location within the city walls
The room was not very pleasant. The photos on the internet look a lot better than in realty.
The cleanliness and the quietness.
breakast a bit too expensive in my opinion but maybe it was worth the price.
location is good
old equipment and furniture
The location just inside the walls was great. Some very nice restaurants not too far away.
Fairly expensive for such a basic 2 star hotel. Just to compare, we got a much better deal for a nicer hotel in Nice.
very close to the center
Some people in the staff were very unfriendly, very noisy street and creepy looking street.
Location. Easy access to the historical sites of the city.
We did not get the rooms we booked with Booking.com.Both rooms were dirty and dark. Breakfast was poor and the water jug was filthy. Were told different reasons for our complaints by different staff. Would not recommend this hotel.
hotel location is dodgy - too much street action. hotel looks nicer on website than it actually is - ground floor room smelt damp so they agreed to put us upstairs but the room upstairs was directly over the boiler room and was very hot !
Bathroom and toilet not cleaned well. Rooms are a bit tired.
Impossible to sleep because of fight inside the hotel during the night. Next day, asking and talking about it with the staff they have justified saying " I was not here, complain is on the booking on line "
Beautiful peaceful courtyard garden where we had breakfast and met up. We were aparty of twelve from greatgrandparents down to greatgranddaughter. We were all happy at Le Magnan.
Peaceful, pleasant garden location for breakfast, which was ample and varied. Helpful staff. Within easy walking distance of the station and the town centre.
My only "complaint" was that there was no plug for the wahbasin in my room, but as I used the shower, this was not a problem, and I didn't report it, not being sure of the French for "plug"!.
Very freindly and helpful staff Good for walking to town
Not near Gare tgv. Euro 20 for taxi
I guess we had bad luck getting the worst room possible, situated near the street. A lot of noise at night, drunk people screaming, cars with loud music at the traffic lights. Also, quite shabby. And the oldest, noisiest airco ever seen which you were not allowed to touch.
Very convenient for the station & bus stations as well as sightseeing. Lovely courtyard for breakfast. My room was lovely & bright.
My friends room was a dark & had to have the light on in the daytime.
