Best Western Le Renoir  

Excellent recently renovated hotel. Very friendly staff, great location 5 minutes stroll to the centre of Sarlat and lots of 14th and 15th century buildings. Good start point for checking out the amazing grottes (caves) and chateaux of the Dordogne. Excellent value for money.

Recently updated modern and clean rooms near old town.

Be sure to ask for a room that opens to the courtyard.

Very luxurious; excellent room with good en suite and lovely view over pool. Free on street parking close by and bay alongside hotel where could park for 20 minutes to drop off/collect baggage. Very helpful friendly staff- only 5 minutes walk to old town centre of Sarlat.

After reading some positive and negative reviews about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff I was very pleasantly surprised at how helpful and friendly the staff were. The gentlman on reception was extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel is very conveniently situated for a walk into the old town of Sarlat, I had a young child and teenager with me and both found the walk easy. I was fortunate with the parking, but there is no hotel carpark, only street parking, so get there early to secure a place to park. Our room was very comfortable and clean, it would be nice to have a tea/coffee making facility in the room as I always like a cup of tea or coffee in the evenings and mornings. The free WiFi connection throughout the hotel was useful, TV stations limited (UK) and not very good reception, but we did not really need this. But over all very pleased with our stay there and would definately stay there again and recomend to others.

Great location and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly

The hotel is quiet, old, comfortable and charming. A very good buffet breakfast available and an easy walk to many restuarants in the lovely old town for dinner. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful and spoke english well which was a relief as I had not been to France for many years and had forgotten many words. There was a swimming pool with very pretty courtyard surroundings. We met up with other guests from the usa and Australia at breakfast and they were also pleased with the hotel. It was ideal for our overnight stop.

The lift did not go all the way up to the floor we were on.

The restaurant and bar were closed for renovation, and I hadn't been I formed beforehand.

Rapport prix pour le petit dejeuner un peu eleve

Décor de la chambre désolant et ringard avec 2 lits de 90 cm jonits, ce qui n'a jamais fait le confort d'un grand lit vu que la longueur n'est pas la même et que dormir avec les pieds qui dépassent, ce n'est franchement pas le top. Petit jejeunet décevant avec du pain de mie et pas de viennoiseries, avouez que pour un 3 étoiles c'est vraiment nul. Je n'y retournerai pas. La chambre supérieure n'avait en fait de supérieure que la hauteur d'un étage à monter à pied

Chambre et equipements de la chambre tres fonctionnels - chambre agreable et spacieuse.

A deplorer les travaux en cours, et donc pas d'acces au bar possible.La salle petit déjeuner trop petite, mobilier ancienne, difficile de circuler dans la salle petit déjeuner
