Very nice charming hotel. The experience of sleeping in such a beautiful castle is unique. Restaurant was fully booked. I was not aware that I should make a reservation in advance. Since the city is small and there is nothing to do on a rainy day, the only option left is to spend more time enjoying the local food. This was not pissible as the town restaurants opened after 19.00. The restaurant should be good and we regret missing the chance of dining there. |

Very good overall feeling about the hotel. The hotel could easily be uprated and expanded with the amount of buildings and space available. l would recommend the owners carry on with the programme of works they have started and advertise the hotel for its unique appeal Lift not going to the top floor |

Position and Surroundings roon was a bit bare, no comfortable chairs for us to sit on in the privercy of our room. Restaurant not opened Sunday for a large hotel this is poor. |

We liked the location, style of hotel, interior decor; efficient reception or arrival and departure. A tour of Sedan fortress is well worth the effort. restaurant was very busy (there was a Rolls-Royce rally on), staff seemed disorganised (in restaurant, bar and reception when seeking wifi access). No wifi in junior suite. Ony one armchair in (very large) room, so useless for a couple to sit together. The door giving access to the private terrace to the ramparts was locked. |

This hotel really is something different. It's a modern extension to a 15th Century fort - you will never stay anywhere like it again. It's convinient for the local centre which has a fair selction of bars and restaurants and is an ideal stop over when travelling through france. staff could have been more attentive, but this by no means runined the experience. |

The rooms were pleasantly furnished & yet felt part of the castle, as they were! We also ate a pleasant dinner there, reservations are a good idea. As breakfast was not included we opted to find our own and found that Sedan is a very sleeply little town with few options. The reception staff did not have much information about the castle, tours and such - being located inside the castle, that would be nice. |

the setting is stunning and the staff was very friendly. However the room is due for a serious update, worn carpets etc. The restaurant was a failure, the chef tried to give an Oriental twist to the menu, not a success. The breakfast buffet was ok. The noise during the night in the hotel courtyard was high, due to the height of the building, I presume. |

A completely modern room inside an old fortification. The hotel directly confirmed the booking and it was done by a person (responded to a reply too) and not an automated email. Moderately good breakfast. The hotel restaurant tries too hard to be gourmet (weird flavour combinations). Departure morning receptionist was rude and unprofessional. |

Hotel surroundings and character. Recommend an upgraded room for size and access to ramparts of the fort. Resteraunt was a bit expensive for what was on offer, however the surroundings were nice. Could do with more staff overall, no room service available. If these minor points were addressed then I would consider this equivalent to a four star hotel |

Hotel specially built in a historial fort, which makes it unique. The room is rather small. Breakfast is slight high-priced. The city which locates has limited options of restaurants and night-life. |

Wonderful building. Dramatic setting steeped in history and atmosphere. A delightful and unusual place to stay. Marvellous views over Sedan and the Meuse Valley. All in all a very relaxing stay. Brekkie was a bit pricey for what it was and the poor girl was all alone to cater for over 30 guests. Not surprisingly many items kept running out and people often had to wait for coffee etc. Great bar over the road though. Now if they could add a sauna/gym/pool that would be fantastic. |

The atmosphere of a real castle can not be beat. The kids loved it. Family suite is spacious and ideal for 4-5 people. The town itself could be quaint - however is in need of a facelift. True to its 3 star rating - I would have liked more luxurious rooms with period reproductions. |

The room was very nice. The bar and outside seating area was lovely and the restaurant was fabulous. There was no information in the room about the hotel etc. |

Hotel does not look like much when you pull up, but you will be wonderfully surprised as you drive through the narrow entrance and stumble upon the uniqueness of this building. Modern facility in a historic building! Good combination of old and new. Great value for the money. The rooms could be a bit bigger. The rooms are truly for no more than two. One big bed is better than two twin beds joined. |

Great restaurant. Unique hotel in a castle. Dreadful location in Sedan. It is the worse place we have ever visited in France. The town is run down and devoid of any attraction. |

Upgraded room was a pleasant suprise. The reception staff were very helpful in finding me a local repair station for my car. The reception booked us in for Dinner at the restaurant without being aware that the restaurant was fully booked for a group. We were obliged to find an alternative restaurant at short notice although reception did help with a reservation. |

My request for a quiet room was complied with, 6th floor. Setting is very unusual, impressive surroundings in the fort. Reception was very friendly. Although the menu read well, the food was not of the highest level. It may be what is currently referred to as 'fusion' but the combinations didn't work for me, especially the turbot dish. I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant. |

Great location. Interesting rooms. The staff were helpful and the decor and the general condition of the hotel was good The restaurant was very poor. The food was very pretentious and over presented without real quality. The food was tasteless and overcooked. The restaurant gave the impression of being a bit special but the reality was quite different. Very expensive also for what provided. |

Spectacular hotel. Excellent price (at least, during winter time). Beware of the 6th floor: the lift does not go straight there, you will have to lift your luggage to one floor by yourself. And all family rooms are on this floor. |
