The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent for wandering Nice and sightseeing. I would like to have had internet access available in order to check in to my airline. |

Everything was in good shape, rooms tidy and clean, very hospitable staff and great location on 15min walking from the old city and 5min to the city beach-front. plenty of cafés and small stores around the corner. |

Lux room is ok We stayed at Les Cigales for 5 days, the first night was terrible since we were allocated on the ground floor... As a piece of advice - never agree for the rooms 5 and 6 - you can hear everything. Next morning Hotel person agreed to change the room with extra eur 30 a night as there were no room the same class and moved to the 'lux'. The later is Ok, quiet and comfortable. Carine (St Pet) |

Wonderfully sweet, helpful people. Near shopping & restaurants & transportation. In-room wireless connection. Lobby and hallways smelled like cat pee. Room was tiny, hard for 1 to navigate, let alone 2. Roof Terrace was cheap, dirty, seedy and dismal, with a view of low rent apartments and laundry. |

The hotel staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very nice, rooms are clean and seemed to be recently renovated. Our room facing the street was quite loud. We changed our room and got one overviewing the garden which was very quiet. Changing the room was uncomplicated. |

Nice quaint hotel in a good location in Nice. It is a good option to hotels that is close to the very touristic areas and yet still close to the Promenade des Anglais. Breakfast was better than expected with cereals, juice, bread and toast which is not a basic expectation in French hotels necessarily. If you are a tall person, the rooms that we had on the second floor had sloping ceilings which can easily be uncomfortable for someone who is taller than 5"3'. I also cannot advise on parking facilities in the city. |

Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Good location, hotel spotless. Some noise from heavy doors closing in neighbouring rooms. |

The staff, particularly Mr. Valentino and Eliane, were fantastic. The hotel is ideally suited to tour Nice. It was very clean and the accommodations were very good. My wife and I enjoyed a queen sized room; our daughter and two granddaughters (12 and 15 ) enjoyed a triple. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend. |

Hotel is well situated, easy access to everything. Clean, comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Is my second stay there and loved it as per my first time. Breakfast could be a little more imaginative for the price. |

Les Cigales is well located for central Nice, very good presentation and decoration and welcoming staff. . We can see no reason to pay more for the larger hotels. |

We were delighted to have found this little hotel. The location was superb with all the major tourist attractions within walking distance and for any bookings/enquiries we made the staff were really helpfull and efficient. The room was not the most elaborate one we have ever stayed in, however, it was spacious and exceptionally clean. |
