“The hotel is in a great location to the Saint Omer square within 100m. Rooms are good for the price but no air con, and the breakfast is worth the the money.”

We were a group of 16 guys on a golfing break, we choose the hotel as it was in close proximity to our golf venue. The hospitality of the proprietor and staff was very good,Nice bar to socialize Evening meal was good and reasonably priced We choose the hotel as it advertised quadruple rooms and we understood this to mean 4 single beds in each room, what we got was double beds resulting in two guys have to share a bed, some of the guys complained that the bathrooms were too small and cramped The breakfast cost eight euros and was not good value for money For these reasons we would not use this hotel again, otherwise everthing else was good

The location of the Hotel was perfect for accessing the local shops, bars & restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the whole weekend went too quickly. The room was quite clean, but could have done with the odd "lick of paint", to brighten the appearance.

The staff were lovely - very friendly and welcoming. The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic, and excellent value for money. Lovely bar area with a great selection of beers and reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and location was ideal to walk around the city. Would use again, and definitely will go back and eat there again. I found the room very basic and the bed a little uncomfortable (until I discovered the extra pillows). Be aware that room gets quite hot and the street noise can discourage you to open the windows. But this is easily solved with ear plugs and is worth staying in such a good location.

We (the noisy English) have arrived twice this year to Les Frangins. The purpose of our visit is to have a weekend break with friends and to do some shopping in France at 'Auchins' a nearby supermarket - often with great deals on French wines and cheeses. After we shop we stay at Les Frangins - just 20 minutes away from the supermarket and within easy driving distance from Dunkirk and Calais too. The staff are all very friendly - the hotel rooms clean and comfortable and the little town of St Omer picturesque and full of great restaurants! It has become a weekend that my friends and I look forward to. We know our way round the town - we know we can have a great weekend and accomplish some bargain shopping - eat at a good restaurant - and enjoy the good beer in the bar of the hotel. Really recommended - but don't all book up and leave us no room!! We want to go there again! The only problem was that we got locked out of our room when we returned for an evening out. Our fault for returning keys to reception - we didn't realise it would be shut later - and although resident's keys are left out to collect from a table inside the hotel - for some reason our was not. But the staff quickly came to the hotel after a phone call - and were very apologetic. No hardship to us - we sat in reception - drank another beer from the vending machine and had a laugh with our friends. It was not really a dislike - but couldn't think of anything else to write here!

Lovely hotel: we had stayed there several times before, and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. Brilliantly located in the town centre, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Only that the restaurant wasn't open Saturday evening- we woiuld have chosen to eat there.

The location and price were ideal for the one night we stayed The bathroom was very cramped and the pitch of the roof meant that when taking a shower one had to kneel in the bath

The Hotel was central,so a car did not have to be used every day. We have stayed in many Hotels in France, and we know their * rating is not on the same level as in England, but the room was very very basic. There was not even a piece of furniture to put our clothes into, so they had to remain in our cases. I think this was one of the worse hotels we have ever stopped in, in France.Very disappointing.

We hadour dog with us-no problem. Parking was 9 euros, but free on street between 6pm and 9am so really no need to pay. The park and gardens nearby fantastic, and lots of restaurants, shops and bars nearby.not bad at all! Restaurant in hotel shut sundays breakfast expensive, but if you dont pay you have to go elsewhere for a coffee as bar is shut in the mornings

Location was great, could cut through to main square, and so was the car park opposite (have to pay but cheap) Staff helpful, but just wish they could have responded to my direct email inquiry earlier. Cosy rooms in eaves. Rather unusual bar with lotto/horse racing. Relaxed and helpful staff. Strange odour in the top rooms, noisy right by road. Smoking outside the bar door. The door code (for evening entry) which we thought changed every day but was ok in the end.

The proximity of the hotel to the centre of the town is very good, with parking usually easy too. Great for a stopover before of after the ferry we find. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. Room facilities not brilliant - 1 plastic beaker and only 2 bath size towels and 2 pillows for a triple room.

Very convenient for Calais. Also, St. Omer was rather nicer than I had expected. Although car parking is in a public car park, it is very close to the hotel. Rooms were clean and pleasant. Staff helpful - we arrived early, but cleaner prioritised our room to make it available as soon as possible. Hotel shuts down fairly early. When they warn you that the front door will be locked in the evening, they mean that the hotel will be completely devoid of staff - don't forget your key code to get in through the front door as it is impossible to get in otherwise.

Good sized clean and comfortable family room with two single beds and one double. Nice bathroom. The hotel Brasserie was closed on Sunday evening but there are plenty of cafes on or near the town square a few minutes walk away.Free overnight parking outside of arriving after 6pm and leaving before 9am. Patisserie across the road if you don't want breakfast in Some of the furnishings are gettting a bit tired and the lift smelt musty but it was clean.

The hotel is in a great location to the Saint Omer square within 100m. Rooms are good for the price but no air con, and the breakfast is worth the the money. Only negative point is that it can be very noisy at night with the window open. It appears to be on the route for night revellers to pass on their way home.

The location in the heart of St Omer is very good. The staff were welcoming and spoke some English. Free internet service. There was a slight smell of damp/drains in the otherwise clean ensuite loo/shower.
