The location was excellent! The hotel room was more spacious than I thought, despite the tiny elevator. Some of the staffs were very friendly and helpful, one particular one wasn't though. There was also a computer with internet access in the lobby that was helpful during our stay. The door was very difficult to work with. It was always hard trying to get into our room. I eventually learned the trick to it, but it shouldn't be necessary to "learn the trick" to opening a door. |

The location within easy walking distance from the station was good and it was also easy to walk into the old port area. There were also plenty of cafe/bars around for breakfast. The size of the room was very small and the decor rather dark. |

Friendly staff, efficient, helpful and competent. Facilites perfectly adequate for one night stopover. Breakfast convenient but expensive for what it was Thin walls - could hear others in room next door. . |

Convenient location for the price. It's 1 kilometer to the old port. The 1 meter by 1 meter shower stall. |

the hotel staff was very helpful, answering questions and making appropriate suggestions. Having the internet there and available for use by guests was a big plus - all guests were considerate of others. the hotel has an extremely small elevator - not a problem for me, but for those that are plus size, with large luggage, or those prone to stay out of tight spaces should avoid this narrow space. |

Hotel staff-welcoming and accommodating and wonderfully friendly. Shower was quite small but adequate with great water pressure. |

The staff is helpful and the free internet in the lobby is a real plus as is the nearby metro, bus and train. Being central you may choose to walk to most everything. The air conditioner in summer does not do anything and is noisy. They should update it and change it from the rattling old central type. The elevator is small if you have very large bags it could be an issue. The carpeting in the room was wet in a spot and stained but otherwise everything was very clean. |

The location was not too bad. The area was very shady; the pictures were very misleading; and the room was really dirty -- i.e. the carpeting had nasty stains and the bathroom seemed like it had not been cleaned for days. |

Clean, spacious, comfortable room. It was very well decorated and had an extremely cozy atmosphere. Don't plan on fitting more than two people and a couple of bags in the elevator because it's extremely small. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. |

The hotel was in a cleaner and nicer part of town (compared to hotels closer to the St Charles railway station). The room I was given (on the top floor) was clean and comfortable, and there was air-conditioning in the room. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. There was free wifi connection in the hotel rooms. Some problems with the bathroom. 1. Smell of mildew in the bathroom during the last couple of days of my stay (I stayed for 5 nights). 2. No ventilation in the bathroom, so it was a bit stuffy on hot days. 3. Shower cubicle was small and cramped (I could barely move in there without hitting the wall or the sliding glass door), though bathroom itself was quite spacious. 4. Leaky toilet (some of the time). |

Staff were very helpful. Don't like the bedspreads, I'm sure they don't get washed between guests. My partner had a strong reaction to what we sespect were bites from the bedding. |

Free wireless internet in the rooms was a huge plus. Breakfast was self served (good because you could choose exactly what you wanted and how much of it) , varied and fresh. Location was great, 10 minute walk to the Old Port. We ran out of soap in the shower dispenser and they were never able to find anymore for us, weird? So we used the soap in the sink dispenser, not too big a deal. Most Hilarious, awkward elevator I've ever seen! Probably couldn't fit a person in their along with a large suitcase, would likely have to send the suitcase up on it's own! |

Staff were quite helpful. Location. Conveniently located between Gare St Charles and La Canebiere. Had CNN as a tv channel. Breakfast was good value. Shower cubicle was small, also had to step up into cubicle. A bit dangerous, especially if older people were to use it. |
