Overall our stay was quite satisfactory. The hotel is in a quiet part of town very close to the old town and sea front. We were upgraded to a 'privelige' room but it didn't seem much different to the others. It was a fair size and we had a table and chairs, kettle and fridge so we could 'eat in' occasionally, buying from the local shops. There was a lack of drawer space. The bathroom was ok and with constant really hot water. We had a balcony. The breakfasts were good. Other reviews had suggested they were poor but for us this wasn't so. The staff were mostly helpful, perhaps a bit 'laissez faire' sometimes. The hotel has a great verandah and bar on the top which is wonderful for having a drink and sunbathing. Overall very good value for an expensive part of the world. We would use it again.

Handy location, comfortable room (privilege triple room), excellent value for money, with unexpected bonus of roof top terrace with sunloungers and small cocktail bar. Would book again without hesitation.

Location and price were good Not much to dislike. It wasn't outstanding but "it did what it said on the tin". We did however discover that if we had booked directly with the hotel we could have had a welcoming drink and breakfast all for the same price.

The hotel is very well situated and value for money. The staff are friendly and quite helpful but not well informed about the local restaurants. Considering we paid 59euro a night it was great value. Will stay there again.

The location is very nice. Not so far from the bus station/train station and very close by the 'main' street where you may find the shops. To be honest we were really unsatisfied with the behavior of the staff. The reception was anything but kind, after we asked if it was possible to have two more pillows, we had to wait more then 1,5 hours to receive them. Also it was not possible to receive some coffee 5 minutes after the breakfast had closed (not even with roomservice) With any questions we had, we got the feeling we were 'bothering' the reception staff, and I do not think that is really proffessional.

Always consistent in service and quality. Good to have half board for convenience although the food wasn't as good as our last visit 18 months ago.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and quiet. Nearly all rooms seem to have balconies and tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfasts but lacking in the provision of fresh fruit. Evening meals a bit limited in range or choice.

I travelled with an elderly lady (in her 80s); two teenagers and a six year old. The staff were very friendly and even when we wee too late for breakfast gave our youngest a croissant. Great location, close to everywhere you'd want to be - equidistant from rail station and beach. Very frindly and accommodating staff. Excellent for our long weekend. All of our party were very happy.

This is probably the most friendly, pleasant and efficient French hotel we`ve stayed in. The staff were exceptional and always willing to assist! The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is perfectly placed for shopping, restaurants/cafes, marina and sea front. We would without doubt stay here again or recommend to friends. Breakfast gets a little busy around the central and side consuls – maybe a minor re-design would help.

I thought the hotel was in general very good, the staff and cleaning lady very friendly. What I was disappointed with was our bathroom was not up to the standard of the one in our cousin's room. Room 107 (1st floor) and our room 114. We had a few of the electrical things not plugged in and we had difficulty in plugging them back in behind the furniture which was about 4-6 inches away from the wall. We also had a plastic pass key not the standard but I suppose there was nothing you could do about that because the customers before us had taken it home with them. Not my favourite room but I do not like red and yellow colour schemes. Other than that it was fine. Your next question is tricky if I had been in our cousin's room probably "yes" in our room probably "not sure".

Nice breakfast The room was not the standard shown in the pictures, not newly renovated, windows very unclean (asked them to clean them, but it didn´t help much). Small double bed, though the picture of the room when booked showed 2 single beds! - NB. remember to ask for a none-smooking room if prefered. We got a smooking room ;(

Hotel has very good location, close to the sea and city center. We booked privileged room with balcony in this hotel one month in advance. We travelled with baby of one year old and when we came to the hotel we were offered a very small room on the ground floor, which was actually below the ground level and there were no even space for baby-cot, they put it in the corridor close to bathroom. We were told that that was privileged room, but next day promised to change the room. There were a lot of different legends from different people why they cannot provide us the room which we booked. After a small scandal, next day we moved to another room, which we booked. All this is extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable with small baby. The hotel made discount for us and we paid for the all period as per superior room rate.

This was a quick stop on a tour - good location close to resort activities, restaurants etc. It was easy to find with its own underground car park - a requirement in a very busy town. Room quite small and a shame had to ask for remote for air conditioning - it took a while to cool the room down. Most other hotels during our trip had already left air con on ready for our arrival.

The room was not ready when we arrived in the hotel at 15H15 and they said to wait another 1 hour. After I made a craim quite strongly, we had a room 15H45, but it was really disapointed.

“This hotel looks like a mansion-house, has quite a wow factor and is set in pretty grounds. It is also close to the beach and only a short walk to the main shopping & restaurant areas. The hotel has plenty of reception space, with lounge areas, card tables, a pool table, bar and dining rooms. We were also pleased with the spacious and secure car park. Our room was large, air conditioned and clean. Breakfasts and dinners do cost extra but are good value; dinner for E20 each including three courses, cheese and wine!” Matthew, Harpenden, Hertfordshire |
