Location convenient for bus train and Menton The breakfast selection was very poor and in certain circumstanses was of inferior quality. The lunch and dinner was poor and we ate out after the first day.

Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, garage, 5 minutes walk from the beach and the centre of Menton, very helpful staff, croissants in the lobby The street nearby is quite noisy (though no problems with closed windows)

It was the location and the breakfast and the staff. The staff are friendly and my room was clean The bar is quite small and you can't eat outside for breakfast. I think it's good thing if you can eat outside the restaurant to get some sun

Staff always polite and avilable. Varied choice of breakfast items. Very close to the sea front, and ten minutes on foot from bus/railwaystation in one direction and the same from the old town in the other. Plenty of restaurants in the area. I would be happy to stay here again. Breakfast service was clean and efficient but it would have been nice to have obtained coffee etc. personally rather than from a machine. The balcony in our superior double room was too narrow to be usable (and the view rather ordinary).

The hotel is very well situated and value for money. The staff are friendly and quite helpful but not well informed about the local restaurants. Considering we paid 59euro a night it was great value. Will stay there again.

The location is very nice. Not so far from the bus station/train station and very close by the 'main' street where you may find the shops. To be honest we were really unsatisfied with the behavior of the staff. The reception was anything but kind, after we asked if it was possible to have two more pillows, we had to wait more then 1,5 hours to receive them. Also it was not possible to receive some coffee 5 minutes after the breakfast had closed (not even with roomservice) With any questions we had, we got the feeling we were 'bothering' the reception staff, and I do not think that is really proffessional.

Always consistent in service and quality. Good to have half board for convenience although the food wasn't as good as our last visit 18 months ago.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and quiet. Nearly all rooms seem to have balconies and tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfasts but lacking in the provision of fresh fruit. Evening meals a bit limited in range or choice.

I travelled with an elderly lady (in her 80s); two teenagers and a six year old. The staff were very friendly and even when we wee too late for breakfast gave our youngest a croissant. Great location, close to everywhere you'd want to be - equidistant from rail station and beach. Very frindly and accommodating staff. Excellent for our long weekend. All of our party were very happy.

-Your restaurant timework is too small, need to prolong till 10:00 at least; -tables and chairs should be relocate to reach more good excess to seat place; -fruits and vegetables should be more, especially in Autumn time; -it's very pleasure to find buns at the entrance; excellent choice. With best regards, Anatol/Natali

I thought the hotel was in general very good, the staff and cleaning lady very friendly. What I was disappointed with was our bathroom was not up to the standard of the one in our cousin's room. Room 107 (1st floor) and our room 114. We had a few of the electrical things not plugged in and we had difficulty in plugging them back in behind the furniture which was about 4-6 inches away from the wall. We also had a plastic pass key not the standard but I suppose there was nothing you could do about that because the customers before us had taken it home with them. Not my favourite room but I do not like red and yellow colour schemes. Other than that it was fine. Your next question is tricky if I had been in our cousin's room probably "yes" in our room probably "not sure".

Nice breakfast The room was not the standard shown in the pictures, not newly renovated, windows very unclean (asked them to clean them, but it didn´t help much). Small double bed, though the picture of the room when booked showed 2 single beds! - NB. remember to ask for a none-smooking room if prefered. We got a smooking room ;(

Hotel has very good location, close to the sea and city center. We booked privileged room with balcony in this hotel one month in advance. We travelled with baby of one year old and when we came to the hotel we were offered a very small room on the ground floor, which was actually below the ground level and there were no even space for baby-cot, they put it in the corridor close to bathroom. We were told that that was privileged room, but next day promised to change the room. There were a lot of different legends from different people why they cannot provide us the room which we booked. After a small scandal, next day we moved to another room, which we booked. All this is extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable with small baby. The hotel made discount for us and we paid for the all period as per superior room rate.

This was a quick stop on a tour - good location close to resort activities, restaurants etc. It was easy to find with its own underground car park - a requirement in a very busy town. Room quite small and a shame had to ask for remote for air conditioning - it took a while to cool the room down. Most other hotels during our trip had already left air con on ready for our arrival.

Went for a four night break with daughter and we both loved the hotel. It was good value, a nice clean and spacious room with plenty of storage and furnished balcony. The seventh floor roof terrace is lovely with comfortable loungers as well as sofas etc. Happy hour at the bar there is very good value, a lovely place to be early evening, enjoying the views. Staff were charming, helpful and spoke English. The hotel is one street back from the sea. The beach is pebbly but that didn't matter- many people had beach mattresses. Our room was at the back so very quiet overlooking gardens. Can't say what a street facing one would be like but it didn't seem a noisy street. The shops of the town are on the doorstep. We walked the few minutes to the old part of town for the restaurants, which are lovely and lively, at least in August. I can't recommend this hotel enough for the price. It, and Menton, are real gems, Most people were French or Italian, which we loved- so don't expect to see many Brits. The bus and train stations are a few mins away from the hotel and from them you can travel cheaply along the coast to so many places including Nice and Monaco. Fly to Nice airport and take the express bus to Menton- its easy.Last but not least, the Italian ice cream here is the best ever!
