Location. Close to train station and bus stop in front of the hotel. Bathroom is big with bath tub.
The room was not very tidy looking. The lift was too small. The bed was uncomfortable. The temperature inside the room are not controlled. Too cold during our stay as the room doesn't have a heater at all. The staffs are not so friendly.
Position and closeness of Gare du Nord. Bath. Centre of Paris easy to get to.
Curtains were hanging of the rail and I had to attach them. Net curtain was extremely dirty. No shower curtain so the floor got wet. Some staff were unfriendly. No tea making facilities in the room. Condition of hotel was run down.
The hotel was very well maintained, was peaceful Very good breakfast. Value for money in paris
Lack of facilities- Hair dryer did not work although an ad hoc dryer was provided 2 days later Lift was too small Wifi simply did not work at all. Extremely poor performance
It's 5 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. It's also wakling distance from Monte Martre (10 mins) and Moulin Rouge (20 mins). This hotel is very typically Paris.
The rooms were a little dated but were fine and we slept well.
Attacked in Paris
Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Room was basic, but so was the price. Conveniently located near Gare Du Nord.
Staff nice and helpful
Door lock broken, frayed bedspreads, toilet flush broken, no shower curtain, worn everything, plastic sheets on one of the mattresses, wifi very slow esp at peak times. Because of scaffolding, couldn't see name of hotel on outside so difficult to find.
bad was not perfect. it was a little dirty. door was broken
Near the railway station and metro Gare du nord, 5 min on foot. The bathroom is clean and big. The chauffeur is powerful
The WiFi signal is weak in the room and we coule hear the neighbor.
Metropol is a cheap hotel near the train station. Excellent if you're planning to be out and about as it's an easy walk to Montmartre or you can hop on the metro. It has clearly seem better days: there was only one electrical outlet, and the hair dryer didn't work, but it was clean and served as a good base. You get what you pay for, so its excellent value for the money. The staff were exceptionally friendly by any standard, especially so for Paris.
Only one electrical outlet in room, hair dryer didn't work.
We chose it for its location
The bathroom was damp without a shower screen
locatin, staff, new bathroom
must change the interior of room from carpet to ceiling
The location is good for the Gare de Nord
Staff grumpy. Scaffolding all over the building. Only one plug available in the room. No toiletries providedd after we arrived. No shower curtain so the floor was always soaked. Really uncomfortable bed. Just awful value.
We liked location.
Wasn't aware if the renovations and room was very hot. Not comfortable for sleeping. Pillows not comfortable.
the location of hotel is good.
the bedsheets were not clean. The reception was very rude. not helpful at all. Even after paying in advance, he treated me like sh** and wanted me to check out before the deadline. I dont know why he was not happy to have me there. Instead I would have stayed in a 5 star hotel at the same price though it was far from the city.
The toilet had no seat, the shower had no shower curtain, lighting in stair was was poor. The old man behind the counter was arrogant and not very helpful. Don't stay there.
Staff at the desk where helpful to give you directions to places of interest. A great location if trAvelling by Eurostar :-)
Hotel has excellent location and staff helped a lot.
Bathroom sink not working well.
the flight is on time
the flight is not on time
Close to the metro and train station.
A little small but every hotel in France is.
The overall facilities !
There were fleas in the bed, ate at my daughter. Who received them a rash on the body that was discovered on the day of departure, the desk clerk said that the only thing he said to check.
Location and front office staff helpful
The morning staff who manages the reception counter was an excellent help. He was forever helpful. An asset to the hotel.
I was greeted by 2 different night staff during my stay. I was not happy with one (the more matured one). He was not helpful at all when i asked him on directions to disneyland if i take the train. Maybe i approached him at the wrong time as he was watching either the news or drama. This is no excuse for his sloppy answer to me!
