“Lovely value-for-money hotel ideally situated for skiing Morzine and Avoriaz areas. Family run and guests given a very genuine, warm welcome. Booked on a half board basis and food was exceptional. Hotel spotless and staff superb. Will definitely return!”

Located 30 minutes from Thonon-les-Bains and approximately 1 hour from the Swiss border, the Neige Roc hotel was built in 1905 by the Richard family; it is now a cozy and charming 3-star hotel. During winter the Neige-Roc hotel benefits from an ideal location right next to the cable car station that brings you up to the world renowned ski resort of Avoriaz. From here you will be able to ski over 400 miles of trails linking resorts in France and Switzerland. This area is called 'Portes du Soleil' and it is the biggest skiable domain in the world! During summer the Neige-Roc hotel is situated in the midst of nature, in a peaceful and wonderful landscape - the pastures of the French Alps. Furthermore, for our more sporty guests, the area is the departure point for numerous walks and mountain biking trails. All along the trails you will encounter our typical French farms and chalets dotted amidst the alpine flora and fauna. Hotel Rooms: 28

The location , the design of the hotel The high price we payed is not at all reflecting what you got for.Although we choose a superior double room with private balcony we had a small one witth a balcony we shared with others. The services are not according to the 3 stars level ( the laundry was not changed during our 7 nights sejour, I had to buy towels because I had doubts about the hotel's ones). The 14 euros breakfast is very poor, for example one egg , no cheese, no ham or salami, only jam, we asked for an omelette and we had to pay 12 euro more. The manager of the hotel has not a customer oriented attitude, but a conflictual one.

The location to the Telepherique is extremely convenient. The Food (lunch and dinner) was exceptional. The room, was quaint and comfortable, even with 4 of us. The only negative was the fact that breakfast is only served from 8am. This makes getting to your ski lessons that start at 9am quite difficult. It is not a good idea for children to do 2 hours of ski lessons on an empty stomach. Requesting an earlier breakfast time only caused an argument with the manager, who flatly refused to accommodate her guests. There were several people who commented on the time for breakfast.

Good location, just across the road from the Prodains cable car, the nearest ski shop, and the bottom of a (fairly tricky) blue run down from Avoriaz itself. We weren't on half board but did eat dinner in a couple of nights and the food was good. Very little to complain about. Our superior room wasn't enormous, but perfectly adequate. The ski storage room could have been a little bigger (as the hotel was fairly full this was a bit of a squeeze). Worth bearing in mind that the cable car to Avoriaz and the ski bus to Morzine stop fairly early weekdays (approx 9pm) and there is not much happening around the hotel itself.

Fab location! Could not be any easier with the hotel across from the telecabin. Great food and happy and helpful staff. Only issue was car parking - they don't have many spaces and we ended up parking in a public lot up the road - not a big problem though.

Excellent fireplace, dinner and dessert Every time you must check your bill because the staff often made mistakes and try to earn as much money as they can. The jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna located in different places and very uncomfortable. Once in the jacuzzi has been added so much chlorine that we just did not get the whole family poisoning. When I asked to extend our staying for another day they've added to the account an amount much higher than we were paying before. The breakfast the poorest I have ever seen.

Comfortable room with good storage and separate loo. Balcony. Clean, stylish and attractive decor. Good ski boot room facility. Unfriendly front of house staff. Smiling but charmless. Did not put down phone when we arrived. Kept us waiting for ages when we were trying to leave and nearly missed flight. In particular staff were not children friendly - seemed to resent having them. Breakfast of coffee and croissant was eur14 seemed too much. staff did litlle to help guests deal with heavy snow. fromt step was not swept for 2 days and pathe from car park to back entrance was only partially cleare. parking was difficult as snow was not cleared in car park. no help woth luggage from car.

Lo mejor son tres cosas 1. Ubicación. 2. Facil para esquiar. 3.

Mi-a placut amplasarea, mi-a placut zona. Balcoanele orientate spre sud. Mincarea/bucataria foarte bune, stil frantuzesc, sofisticat.
