The proximity to the old town sea front and train station.

The hotel we felt was not value for money. .Breakfast not included in price and was an extra 40 pound per day! Stayed at better 4 star hotels

Good Location Near to Old Town for Restaurants and near enough to walk to The promenade. Mother and daughter stayed but it might not be suitable for families

Booked a double , got two singles pushed together. Agreed at check in that we would pay cash . They took payment on card and lied about it when challenged, and didn't give me a receipt.

First time at reception tell us, that breakfast is included, when were checking out took 130 euros for 3 days. Not honest.

Location is pretty good. The staff is friendly. Everything is clean. I don't know why 'this is SPA-hotel' ;-) Of course there is a small pool there. And nothing more. A breakfast is pretty poor and expencive. But this is France, Nice. Nothing is cheap there. As a conclusion this is a good hotel to spend a few nights in Nice. Don't hope to get something luxury.

The bathroom was dirty, the wc was really not cleaned at all. Wondering how an hotel can have 4 stars without a restaurant. In the booking.com receipt there was written that I should have got room shoes, when I asked the receptionist he told us that the room we chose was not supposed to have them.

The staff were incredibly helpful, it was great to have in indoor pool and spa especially as it was winter when we visited. The in-room massage was really good as well. The location was great also, being only 15 minutes walk from the train station and there was the main shopping strip only 5 minutes away as well as the main strip of restaurants plus the amazing christmas markets also 5/10 minutes away. We loved the hotel.

The gym could be upgraded and segregated from people looking in. Breakfast was a little costy but it's usual for europe I suppose.

The optional breakfast was very expensive at 20 euros per person for the buffet. Similar hotels in the same region charge about 10 euors

where were the dressing gowns and slippers that were mentioned on booking.com? also, we were placed in a room "twinned" with another in a corner of the hotel, and the other room had a crying baby - why could we not be spread out? - was the hotel full?

Very friendly and helpful stuff, cosy room with comfortable bed, nice swimming pool and sauna, great location.

Nothing to complain about. We dont know if the breakfast is good there, we didnt try.

Excellent location. Nice rooms. Good swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Garage (€19/night). Free Internet access. Good 4 star hotel.

Friendly helpful staff, it has the atmosphere of a small hotel and the staff are cheerful and seem to care. When I could not get wifi working we quickly got past the worry that staff could not touch a guests computer (an understandable precaution) and the technician worked with me and resolved the problem, great! It is rare and expensive to find perfection. This was not perfection but a fair balance. Next time I am in Nice it will do just fine.

Minor things; the shuttle was quite late on leaving and I was anxious about my flight. The bathroom is clean but not spotless, get a little steam cleaner in there for an hour in all the corners and it would be much improved. replace the hair drier and a few cracked tiles, attend to the loose lamps.

It had an upmarket contemporary feel with helpful staff and close tourist spots. The Receptionist with short dark hair(sorry didn't catch name) was very cheery and helpful.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a good location giving strolling access to all that Nice has to offer. We found it very quiet at nightime. The room was clean and the maid came in every day. The pool and spa are very welcome additions.

There wasn't really anything that we disliked. The only thing I would say is that the 4* rating creates an expectation that in my case, led to initial disappointment. I don't think it is what most people would expect for a 4* hotel. That said, if you can get a reservation at a decent rate, don't be put off, this is a good, clean hotel, with good staff in a good location.

Room was unclean on arrival relocated to another room after already unpacking. My sister Mrs Ann Golden who was travelling with us her room was not ready for occupation until 15.30 on the day of arrival check in indicated at 14.00. Overall very poor value for money 202 euros per night continental breakfast charged at a additional 20euro per person absolutely a monumental rip off considering the price of the room.

Our second stay at Nice Riviera (5 nights, double room with balcony). A warm welcome by the managing director and a very customer oriented and service minded staff made once again our future choice of hotel in Nice easy. Clean, quiet and nice room. Excellent location for shopping, sightseeing and beach. Good english speaking staff. One person also Swedish speaking. The hotel was renovated 2011.Reception areas, rooms and pool area now have a much more appealing and upgraded standard. We travel a lot, and have considerable experience what to expect regarding hotel categories, prices and customer satisfaction.

We did not choose the additional breakfast option. Buffet breakfast eur 20 per person per night is in our opinion (like at many other hotels) a little too expensive.
