The staff were helpful.
I didn't like it when we checked out one hour late & got charged for more.
It was quite easy to get to with the metro. There are some good Vietnamese and Thai restaurants near the hotel. The place was nice and private.
Well, it was basically a bed, a bathroom and a tv. Could hear the other people in their rooms. Was woken up by the squeaking bed of a couple going at it upstairs. Found hairs on my blanket. No breakfast option even though it was in the hotel description.
Quiet street. Big window.
My husband and I (and small baby) made reservations at Hotel Novex for a Friday night to Monday morning. We set off Friday on a train to Paris from Germany...Our train was delayed and we didn't get to Paris when we were supposed too. It was the last train for Friday and since it wasn't our fault the train station set us up in a hotel room for free and got us on the earliest train the next morning (Saturday). We called Hotel Novex to let them know we could not make it but that we would be there in the morning and the owner was so super rude and yelled at us saying we must pay and it was a contract...we knew that and had no problem paying we just wanted to tell him we would be there in the A.M. Life happens and the delay at the train station was not our fault. We arrived the next morning...and Hotel novex made us still pay for the night we didn't stay. Which was whatever we needed the next 2 nights so we paid and went to our room. Okay next, the stairs up to the rooms are not wide, or stroller friendly. The room itself was tiny. We had to squeeze around the bed to get to the "living area" which was maybe 4 ft by 4 ft. The bathroom was even smaller. Not enough room to dry off. There was mold was on the window seal in the shower. The bed was so hard I will be seeing a chiropractor soon. Our neck and backs are so sore! No real pillows. It is a weirs homemade long pillow. No ac. It was so hot, my husband tried to turn the ac unit on in the room...it would not work...he went downstairs and asked the owner about it...he waved our booking confirmation paper in his face and yelled at him stating there was no ac in our room. Very rude and disrespectful. This man has serious issues. When you leave he asks you for your key card to your room. I did not like this...I Have never had a hotel take your key card. It was very odd. He locks the main door every time you leave. And waits for you to come back. Very very odd.
Close to a Metro station
*The accommodations were slightly above camping. The desk clerks were unpredictable in their behavior (sometimes pleasant, other times yelled at me). Brace yourself, if you ask a question about your bill or request another towel or a roll of toilet paper you are going to get yelled at. Language barriers made it unprofitable to yell back. It was a one-star hotel so I can't expect too much more. Getting yelled at by the reception was new territory for me in all my international travels. Something I'll look back on and laugh about. My daughter is still a bit traumatized. I could have booked a room at an Ibis for the same price. Internet, air conditioning, towels, toilet paper--all the things a budget traveler dreams of experiencing without confrontation. I'd go that route next time.
The place was terrible!! The beds were hard, there were fleas in the bed, we couldn't use the doona because it made us itch. I had 4 nights booked in and had to leave after one. I complained about the poor cleanliness and the owner didn't agree and wouldn't refund my money. I would suggest that no one book this hotel as you will be highly disappointed!!
the reception and disponibility of the staff.
the toilet and washroom So tiny and incomode Not to indicate
Service is awful! Sooooooo awful! No wifi
The location is good and I had what I wanted. Because it is one star hotel only, it is excellent for the money.
- The staffs is very rude and uneducated. They shouted at the customers when I asked for my kid staying in my room. - They took my towel away because they thought that belongs to the hotel. But never said sorry. - The rooms have very bad smell because of smoking. Even I booked non - smoking rooms. I have asked for changing, but it was the same.
Staff was very helpful
Close to the metro/located in an area i would call "chinatown"/friendly staff/ If you don't want to spend a lot of time in the hotel,I would definitely recommend this hotel, because of the cheap price and the location
You have to give the staff your room key if you leave the hotel/a huge and very small staircase and a super small elevator to reach the rooms/very small bath (about 2 m2/ only one towel
Staff are rude, they spoke with me unpolitelym didn`t understand french wellm cries all the time. Room was dirty and cold.
Kind people, clean bedroom, good price
An egg perhaps with breakfast? Good warm coffee both mornings.
Location and distance from metro station
Rooms and reception should be taken care of more and "prettified"
