The Hotel Opera was a great value and location. Our room was large, we had a large king size bed, free wi fi, and the bathroom was perfect. They provided us with robes, slippers and big towels. Our room did not include breakfast however, we did have coffe in our room which was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English. The loction is about 1 block to shopping. 2 blocks to Hotel Vendome, and Tullieries gardens.

The location and staff were excellent. The Louvre entrance was no more than ten minutes walk away (order tickets online in advance to avoid queuing for up to 1 1/2 hours). We would definitely go back to this hotel. The only downside was the cost of room service really should you choose to have it. The menu was expensive although you always expect to pay a premium for this. However, in addition to the cost there was a further charge of either six or ten euros (depending which of the two menus you looked at) per person for bringing it to your room. So potentially, a family of four that ordered say two croque monsieurs and two cheese platters would pay roughly 70 euros for the food and another 40 euros for it to be brought to their room.

The staff was friendly and excellent. The location was top-notch. Nothing! There was some renovation occuring but the staff wrote a personal note apologizing and even provided some Godiva chocolate as part of the apology! It did not inconvenience us at all.

We stayed at the bw Hotel Opera Richepanse for three nights during a recent trip to Paris. The location is very good - close to two metro lines (Madeleine and Concorde) as well as being close to shopping (if you're so inclined), the Louvre, and several good restaurants (one being across the street). The Art Deco decor was an unusual touch and well done. Unfortunately, breakfast was not included in the price of the room. Despite that, we would recommend the hotel and definitely would consider staying there again. As I mentioned above, breakfast was not included in the room rate and was quite expensive. 13 euro for a roll and cup of coffee is quite expensive.

For Paris, this was a good sized room. The Art Deco theme was simple and gave the rooms a nicer atmosphere than the usual anonymous feeling some city hotels in this price range can have. The breakfast was extra so we chose to eat elsewhere. It probably was better value to eat in the hotel, but would prefer it if hotels included this in the price.

Hotel staff is very friendly. The location is very good. There is a meropolitan line under the hotel. We leaved on the firsr floor. I can't sleep because of the trains. I do not recomend this hotel to people with sensitive sleep. In my opinion the hotel with such defect can't cost 300- 500 Euro per room.

Very service minded staff, good hotel, clean and nice rooms Quite expensive (eur 200 per night) w/o having the breakfast included. The price for the breakfast is also on the high side and the breakfast room is not very large.

Helpful staff and perfect location. Somehow we found ourselves in a smoking room (not sure how that happened as I'm particular about it when booking) but staff responded and moved us to another, fresh, room.

I usually stay at 3 star hotels in Paris. I decided to book a 4 star this time. I am at a loss to see the diffenence. While this hotel was comfortable and the staff was amiable the diffference in price was hardly worth it. At the 4 star price , I would be reluctant to recommend this hotel.

Location was great, staff were extremely helpful. I was suprised to discover the history of the building itself. We were in the top-floor -- it was a little too hot.
