We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it a lot. Very new (opened April 2011) -everything appeared to be untouched! It has its own character, check-in and check-out are automated. No need to deal with receptionists! Breakfast are organic and very tasty bread-butter-marmelade-juice-fruits- yoghurt (ask for the cherry, if available!). Coffee is free of charge during breakfast -from vending machine. The lady taking care of the breakfast area is kind. The location is superb, a vivid and lively neighbourhood, three mins walk from Cheronne metro (central line) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Μείναμε για μια εβδομάδα και πραγματικά το απολαύσαμε.

The "green" theme is nice. Check-in is really easy. The location is close to several good cafes and bars. There are no beds; instead there is a futon-like matress that you sleep on. It wasn't quite as comfortable as a bed. The room was also quite cramped. The staff was hard to track down when we had questions.

The breakfast is nice, all organic. The design of the halls and en the restaurant that stays open for snack out of breakfast hours too. Not having the option to turn on the heater in April just because it's Spring is terrible. The room was freezing at night when outside temperature was around 5 Celsius.

Clean and fun! Our 13 year old liked it a lot! No kettle! Bad smell in entryway due to unfortunate location of bin storage area. No exterior windows in our room.

Quirky. Beds are futon style and very comfortable. The hotel theme is envionmentally friendly. It translates as colourful minimalism and wooden cutlery. Good business model. Despite a low overhead offering it feels like good value. If they keep the place well decorated and clean and increase light levels in the bedrooms it works. Tiny bedrooms. Tiolet cubicle is open to the the room. Booked 2 rooms; a double and twin. For reasons stated both only suitable for single occupancy but as such are good value.

Everything was electronically - check-in etc.. You even have to enter a code so that the entrance door opens. No person at the front desk. The room was very small - the bed was literally on the floor. It was absolutely noisy!!! I could not sleep for 3 nights!! No space for a computer, no chair - internet was not working..no phone in the room..and all that for a very high price of 130 Euro. Absolutely disappointing!!!!

Internet connection is OK. Breakfast is terrible. Room is way too small. No facility including shampoo. Self check-in and check-out, sometimes doesn't work. No receiption, how should we get into the hotel the 1st time? My credit card doesn't work on the check-in machine.

The location is really good. All the cool places in Paris are within walking distance. Interesting design, very avant-garde... A bit too avant- garde even. Design over function. Rooms are interesting to look at but not to stay in.

Nothing really. I stayed in Hotel Charone about a year back. It was plesant. That was the reason I choose it under the new owenship. Now it has changed to HiMatic for the worst. No receptionist anywhere, the bed is on the floor which is difficult to sleep, the shower is so poorly designed that it is difficult to get in or out for even a 73 kg 178cm man like me. The breakfast is very poor and the staff attending the breakfast need to learn manners. I would not stay there ever and will recommend my friends not to go there at all.

The eco-design approach...the whole concept of the project. Cool, trendy area. A lot of cool restaurants, cafes, shops around the hotel. Metro station as well as "Velib" station at 5 min. walk from the hotel. I was disappointed about the functionality of the room. For a hotel designed by a worldwide well-known designer like Matali Crasset, the functionality should be covered in more than 100%. My expectations were therefore high like it should be and I was disappointed. No functional reading lamps in the bed. No switch on/off beside the bed. No light on the desk, no light at the entrance of the room (where there is a mirror and the blow dryer). The handle of the toilet's door is just a "joke", totally unfunctional!...No intimacy in the toilet at all!

Convenience to the bus. Quiet. Breakfast Access to Internet. Freshness & cleanliness. Big enough mattres for children to fit on too. We slept well & enjoyed our stay. Thank you! Needs window coverings. Needs remote control so tv can work. A security safe that works. Some warning that there is no bed & the mattress is on the floor.
