-Quiet at night -Clean & simple -Great for young couples
The staff was friendly and available. The entire building was very clean. Over all a good experience.
The toilet booth in the room had clear seethrough glass as well as the shower stall. Frosted glass would have been better.
It's like a hostel
Our pre-paid reservation was not found on the hotel's booking system when we arrived (by midnight). We had to leave a cash guarantee that night and the problem was only solved the next morning.
The room was Modern, colourfull and placed in a nice area with bars, brasseries and restaurants nearby. The WiFi was good as well. Close to metro station Charonne line M9.
Our room on the 4th floor was tiny tiny tiny tiny. You were washing your hands next to your pillow because there was no separated room for the bathroom. You needed to step on the bed to access your suitcase and there was no wardrobe but only 4 hangers for clothes. Not suitable for families or couples.
We have to pay extra money for a extra room for their careless mistake,I am afraid.
Everything! Best place to stay. We loved the environmental feel & the staff were so so helpful!! Even ordered a pizza for us. They answered every question we asked, gave us tips and were so good with directions. A metro is right up the road that connects directly to the Eiffel Tower & everywhere else in the city. We loved staying there that we booked an extra night!
Great friendly English speaking staff, good breakfast and interesting (but small) rooms. Well worth the price, and also located in a vibrant exciting foodie neighborhood.
Airconditioning is nice to have! The design of the hotel is pleasing to our eyes.
Facilities: water from the shower overflows and the space between the shower and the toilet is so narrow.
Good location, convenient, but not a hotel to do anything in other than sleep.
Tiny room which was OK for one, def not for a couple. Not great value but that's Paris.
Location was very good , check in staff very helpful. Shower good , water hot with ample bath wash , shower head secure and free standing. Bedding doona comfortable. Liked the idea but it didn't make the positive impression it was claiming it would.
Room cramped, bed impeded the access to the sink and shower. Bed difficult to get up and and down to as it was like a mattress on the floor- not suitable for older people. Bed got wet from the shower spray.
The concept was amazing. We picked this hotel because the hotel we'd originally planned to stay at was awful. Upon arriving, the staff was very friendly and spoke great English. We had a very cute and cozy room with a TV and good WIFI. The area is very good too. It is a short 10 minute walk to Le Bastille, where there are many fantastic restaurants, pubs, cafe's, and a metro station.
Great value for money. Tasteful compact rooms. Loved the energy of the neighbourhood.
Bathroom a bit tiny but you can't complain at these prices.
They've maintained the same level of high value for money for the years now. I expect them to continue.
Very well designed rooms. Nice bars and restaurants close by. Easy to get to Metro.
Would have been nice to have mini fridge for cold water in room, but understand it is an eco hotel.
Fantastic staff, when the automated check-in broke we were given lots of help and apologies for the broken system. The location is great only 5mins from a metro station and in a fairly nice area with a good selection of bistros, bars and shops in the area. All in all, it's a great value place
The design of the room is a tad wacky, feeling sort of like a childrens room in IKEA with shelving jutting out at head height. The concept is a great one but it seems that style was put before functionality, though this wasnt such an issue once you'd learn to deal with it. The automated check-in seems to only work half the time but once again, staff were there to help.
smelly room very small average location bad wifi
The location is very uncomfortable. Two metro stations is pretty far away (10 mins by walk). The main attractions are also far away by walk. The staff is very unpleasant. There was don't disturb message at the door but staff tried to enter when I am inside. After the cleaning the towel were at the floor and was wet. Room is very small. There wasn't any wardrobe and any room for two bags. There isn't any bed. Only matress at the floor. After the sleeping you should to get them off to free some space. A lack of lights. The door in the toilet room is smaller than the space for it so there was some smell and wasn't so comfortable to use the WC. The door has the big window to see who is inside. The light inside the shower didn't turn off. After a check out from out pockets have disappeared chocolate and two eyeshadows. The hotel is answered there wasn't anything at the room... Not recommended at all
I was so excited to stay at Hi Matic for a romantic holiday with my boyfriend and it full field my expectations. The design is very cool.Rooms are small, like really small but very stylish and cheerful. The mattress is very good, I had a very comfy sleep. Location is not as cool as it is not in the city centre and Paris tube is just absolutely disgusting. Avoid the tube, don't ruin your impression of Paris.Despite hotel is a lovely place for young people, very clean.
The reception staff were very helpful while trying to negotiate the stupid automatic check in, a pointless exercise .
The poncy and impractical 'design' was rather pretentious and not very good. Seems to be a hotel for fashion victims !
Location was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful, you could check out at midday, there were no issues about what time u came back, I would tecmend staying here whether with a group of friends or family.
Nothing was good
The hotel is THE WORST hotel i ever stayed. Its the opposite from what we call "value for money".. Terrible.... If you dont find another room to stay, you better stay at home and dont travel to Paris.. The room is soooo small that even my dog would complaint if i had left him to stay there for one night.. The room is awe full. Disgusting...
Cool design and concept. Trying to bridge the gap between hostels and hotels. Good facilities too.
I think for the price it's a little disappointing how much you can hear through the thin walls. The surrounding guests in their rooms sound as if they are just there, showers running and doors can be heard. I think the walls need some better sound proofing.
Great location and staff.
There is no privacy in the bathroom and shower, doing traveling with friends it can be uncomfortable.
