bed was comfortable location next to Gare was good for an overnight stay. I would not stay in this hotel more than 1 night.
room design: a structural post next to the window essentially made the corner of the room on the window side of the bed unusable. Made the room too small to have 2 suitcases open at the same time. The breakfast at 19Eu was the most expensive in our 10 day stay in France. Others were 9.50-17 Eu. All others were better. Coffee was barely hot, hot items mostly burnt. Fruit and pastry was OK. Service was non-existent.
The location near to the public transports
The room was to cold
Extremely comfortable bed
Warm coffee served from a thermos with a broken spout
The location was perfect and convenient for walking.
The location close to Montparnasse and metro line 4. Rooms are spacious at a fair price for Paris. Service is discreet efficient and hassle free. There is a pub/restaurant district about 200 m away.
The hotel was right next to the train station. The taxi rank was conveniently just across the road, and there are easily accessible local amenities. Good restaurants and shops a short walk away. Neighbourhood feels safe.
This is my first review of any hotel on any website. My experience of this hotel in particular has compelled me to write a review. I am a frequent business traveller and stayed here on 3 occasions. I was unimpressed on all visits. I paid just under 300 euros per night but got nowhere near the quality of service I was expecting for that price. Even basic hotel standards were not being met. Some disappointing experiences in particular: - Hotel has a severe shortage of irons. There are no irons in rooms. This is unacceptable considering the vast majority of customers are business people. I had to ask the reception multiple times over the course of the day to check whether there was one available. When I finally got one, I wasn't given an ironing board to go with it... The shortage is so severe that I was woken up by a loud, persistent knock on my room door at 11:30pm. When I opened it, a hotel employee rudely demanded to take the iron from me. It is unacceptable to be harassing guests that late in the evening for something like that. Advice - bring your own iron or specifically ask for a room with a press - Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is satisfactory, but the cost is extortionate for what you get - you're far better off going to a local bakery. - No kettles in deluxe rooms - only coffee machines. When I asked, my response was that it was "impossible" to provide a kettle separately for those rooms. Don't bother trying to boil clean hot water using the machine - you'll end up with nondescript brown liquid in your cup - Front-facing curved deluxe rooms are extremely cramped. Not worth the higher price - The sofa that was in the room literally fell apart (the whole back of the sofa fell off) when I touched it - When the shower in my room was leaking, I had to ask the reception THREE TIMES throughout the day before someone was sent to repair it - Rooms are small and what is provided in the rooms is inconsistent e.g.
The don't give any maintenance to the facilities.
All was fine.
Airconditioning was not adjustable. Grasping for air, and too hot, end Oct.
The bed first and foremost was so comfortable. Good pillows. In fact all the facilities were good. Restaurant served wonderful food. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Liked the location a nice area near the train station and metro as well as good cafes and other places of interest.
Had a problem with the shower but was keener on baths during my stay, so it didn't matter to me but was assured it could be fixed.
Closeness to Gare Montparnasse & metro. View of Eiffel Tower from window. Direct bus from airport to Gare Montparnasse.
Couldn't use fridge in room for your own items.
fleixible check out time ( till 12:00 noon )
Shower curtain smelling a bit funky
1. Breakfast is not value for money. Have more options for vegetarian
1. Wi-Fi is very slow and patchy 2. Staff are very rude 3. The room rent is too much for the quality of service
It was centrally located so handy for bars / restaurants in the evenings.
I had to travel to the office every day. When going out to the taxi rank none of the taxi drivers would accept credit cards. They also were annoyed at having to go out of Paris to drop me a that the office with no return fare.
Hotel staff, Poor service, rooms much smaller than they advertise, old and worn furniture
I liked the courteous staff they were very helpful
Near Gare Montparnasse (5 min walk) with access to 4 Metro lines, RER and SNCF trains (including direct to Versailles). Many excellent restaurants within 10 min walk. Very comfortable room.
The locan was excellent for us and we could travel to all the key areas easily.
The cleaning staff didn't understand English and thus when they open while we are in the room to clean we could not understand each other. It would be valuable to have some who can speak English as this helps with various non French speaking visitors.
1. Staff service; 2. Clearness; 3. Quietness; 4. Location; 5. TV programmes.
1. No slippers; 2. Small wardrobe; 3. No peg in entrance; 4. No ventilation in bathroom; 5. Quality of Wi-Fi; 6. No breakfast in price of room; 7. Price wasn't appropriate to this quality; 8. No Taxi service.
Location, friendly staff, comfortable and fair value of money for 4 stars hotel
Wifi, you have to log in every day and sometime is very slow.
The hotel is very close to the air-France bus shuttle to/from airports. Helpful staff. Comfortable stay. Close to metro and rail station. We had a room with an Eiffel tower view.
Can't think of any. though, haven't tried breakfast so I can't give my opinion.
The bathroom smelled of sewage at times. Air conditioning didn't work.
The hotel has a good location close to 2 Metros. Position wise it only lacks a closer proximity to inner Paris near the river. The staff were very helpful and the rooms comfortable.
My only complaint is the breakfast. The bacon was badly cooked, the sausages not to good and the scrambled eggs not well prepared. However, these are my opinions; others may have liked what I didn't.
The staff were helpful. The bathroom was clean. Excellent shower. Location was quite central.
I was put in a very dirty room the carpets were stained and flirty. I had to request to change the room which they did. The rooms were tight, no place to move. Certainly not value for the money paid.
Location was excellent, short walk away from the nearest metro. Very comfortable and attentive staff.
