the malfunction in elevator caused hours of inconvenience.
Location was of primary concern because it was adjacent to train station and close to metro stations.
Our room was extremely cold and the thermostat would not raise the room temperature above 19 degrees Celsius, after contacting the main desk four times with our concerns, they did finally provide us with space heater. However, the bathroom and tiled floor was always cold.
Reception staff were kind and helpful for correcting and printing a one page document.
They could not find bed sheets for the extra bed until 22:00 and there was a bloodstain on the ones they finally have found. The minibar was locked, if you want to put something to the fridge, you have to ask a favor to the reception staff. You have to pay for the breakfast when you are entering the dining hall, which seemed to be very unpleasant and over commercial.
hotel was ok. Standard type of hotel but not great value of money. I won't be rushing back next time I'm in Paris. Room and en-suite was tired and in need of an update. Not the cleanest hotel either.
You can't regulate the air-conditioning in any of the rooms and our room was on a floor with no opening windows. They eventually moved us but you still could not turn down the heating.
My husband and I when for a weekend in Paris, and we had a great time. Te hotel is in less then 29 min from the metro and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower ( 30 min ). I would come back for sure!
I don't really have any complain.
massive q for breakfast and poor wi fi connection
The location, the restaurant, the view.
The room was far too hot, it wasn't possible to control the heating effectively and the windows didn't open. The staff were largely unhelpful when we complained.
elevator, we have to Waite a lot in morning. On the 1st on jan all elevator was out of service! I was on the 7th floor. No gym! The metro is far from the hotel! Not comfort in winter time. Poor location!
Very friendly and kind staff. Clean rooms and the location was pretty good.
Location, accesibility by metro and airport buses. Good breakfast, very helpful staff.Very clean hotel in general. A place to come back.
The cleanliness of the breakfast plates and glasses. They should pay nextra attention. The choices of the hot breakfast dishes.
Free Wi Fi and parking
Hotel restaurant was overpriced...
- comfortable beds, good wi-fi, quiet and good location.
Breakfast is a bit expensive
Receptionists are rude. Wifi is very weak at room.
Did not think value for money, nothing special, dirty light switches, paper cups
Really comfortable clean room Quality of food served in the Wenge Bar Staff friendly and attentive
24 hours free wifi. Close to Montpanarsse metro station
Telephone was not working properly and laundry has to be brought to reception
bed was comfortable location next to Gare was good for an overnight stay. I would not stay in this hotel more than 1 night.
room design: a structural post next to the window essentially made the corner of the room on the window side of the bed unusable. Made the room too small to have 2 suitcases open at the same time. The breakfast at 19Eu was the most expensive in our 10 day stay in France. Others were 9.50-17 Eu. All others were better. Coffee was barely hot, hot items mostly burnt. Fruit and pastry was OK. Service was non-existent.
The location near to the public transports
The room was to cold
Extremely comfortable bed
Warm coffee served from a thermos with a broken spout
The location was perfect and convenient for walking.
The location close to Montparnasse and metro line 4. Rooms are spacious at a fair price for Paris. Service is discreet efficient and hassle free. There is a pub/restaurant district about 200 m away.
The hotel was right next to the train station. The taxi rank was conveniently just across the road, and there are easily accessible local amenities. Good restaurants and shops a short walk away. Neighbourhood feels safe.
This is my first review of any hotel on any website. My experience of this hotel in particular has compelled me to write a review. I am a frequent business traveller and stayed here on 3 occasions. I was unimpressed on all visits. I paid just under 300 euros per night but got nowhere near the quality of service I was expecting for that price. Even basic hotel standards were not being met. Some disappointing experiences in particular: - Hotel has a severe shortage of irons. There are no irons in rooms. This is unacceptable considering the vast majority of customers are business people. I had to ask the reception multiple times over the course of the day to check whether there was one available. When I finally got one, I wasn't given an ironing board to go with it... The shortage is so severe that I was woken up by a loud, persistent knock on my room door at 11:30pm. When I opened it, a hotel employee rudely demanded to take the iron from me. It is unacceptable to be harassing guests that late in the evening for something like that. Advice - bring your own iron or specifically ask for a room with a press - Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is satisfactory, but the cost is extortionate for what you get - you're far better off going to a local bakery. - No kettles in deluxe rooms - only coffee machines. When I asked, my response was that it was "impossible" to provide a kettle separately for those rooms. Don't bother trying to boil clean hot water using the machine - you'll end up with nondescript brown liquid in your cup - Front-facing curved deluxe rooms are extremely cramped. Not worth the higher price - The sofa that was in the room literally fell apart (the whole back of the sofa fell off) when I touched it - When the shower in my room was leaking, I had to ask the reception THREE TIMES throughout the day before someone was sent to repair it - Rooms are small and what is provided in the rooms is inconsistent e.g.
The don't give any maintenance to the facilities.
All was fine.
Airconditioning was not adjustable. Grasping for air, and too hot, end Oct.
