The location is excellent and the hotel itself charming, both inside and out. The staff were courteous. We were unable to order drinks in the Bar because:- 1) There was nothing to make Margueritas. 2) There was no Gin. 3) There was only enough vodka to make one drink, not the three we ordered. We left the Bar and went elsewhere.

The receptionist was so helpful and friendly - and wanted to speak in English. The situation of the hotel was excellent - overlooking the river and a short walk to the city/town centre. The room was somewhat small as the stair-head encroached on the room space but we were only there for one night. However, the facilities within the room were fine. We had a meal on the terrace restaurant and it took staff a long time to serve us. However, once the service began it became prompt and efficient.

“Very nicely appointed property with friendly owners. Very comfortable, large room with separate bathroom. A little hard to find, but in an excellent location only a short walk from the old city centre. Set your gps to no 5, ours did not recognise no 6. Drive past no 5 on the left, drive into the large carpark ahead and through to the exit at the other end. Les Pratges is the house on the right near the tennis courts with large iron gates and big yard/garden. These directions are coming from the town centre.” Kristene, Sandy Beach |
