Good location which is the main road in the ville, nice staff, have lift which is very good in southern France.

Free wifi only at reception, no free drinkable water which means that you have to buy.

When I travel for a short city break to a city I've never been to before I'm usually pretty looking for a well located hotel for a low price as I'm not using the hotel for much more than sleeping. Regina offered all of these as well as acceptable cleanliness, à beautiful exterior and two nice balconies with a view to the main street

There was a strong smell in our room which after 2 days with the windows open still wouldn't go out. The hotel breakfast is not good value for money at 9 euro for what it offers. One can get better deals at cafés just a few meters walk. It can get pretty noizy on Saturday night due to its location next to one of the main streets though that didn't bother us personally.

Classical beautiful building. Modern renovation inside, that is not yet finished is simple but stylish. Absolutely top location in Avignon.

The location of Regina was very good, right in the middle of city on the main street.

The room was extremely poor - there were exposed wires, no aircon, the room was smelly, extremely small, the sheets were not clean and overall not value for money at all.

Regina has a great location, the air-con is terrific, and the shower was good for a budget hotel.

People should know that breakfast is served in the lobby. There is a "refreshing" remodel going on that looks like it may reduce the charm of the staircase and hallways.

Our reserved room smelt very strongly of tobacco/cigarette smoke and when we requested an alternative room the receptionist gave us keys to four other rooms, two of which had the same heavy smell of cigarette smoking and the third with a broken toilet lid. We chose a room without carpet and single beds as at least it smelt cleaner. This was only after we tried to cancel as the booking from booking.com said strictly 'no smoking'. When I complained that the hotel had not met their side of the contract, the receptionist said that they were going to charge us anyway as we had not given them sufficient notice. We then reluctantly checked in. The air-conditioning which applies to a superior room as per the booking worked only for the first but no matter what we did we could not get it to work for the second night. Then, as we had a very early departure I wanted to settle the bill on the prior evening only to be told that the 2nd night was going to be charged at 120euro instead of the 89euro as was booked through your site. After showing the duty manager the booking.com booking form, he reluctantly changed the price and we settled up. This hotel is definitely one star and we were very disappointed and would not recommend it at all.

Room looked very white and barren, too clinical and lacking any warmth. May not be a problem for everyone, though.

Broken comode base with feces algea seeping on the floor. Overpriced internet access that did not print my boarding pass. No ventilation in miniature bathroom. No fan in a hot room. No sense of the simple fact, that we do not live in 1800 but in 21 century and sanitation is a law in developed countries. Also the fact that town lives of the turists and should try to return a small portion of the profit to raise the service to levels common in developing countries. It is astounding that in area with 500 hotels there is not a single taxi cab and you pay premium callin one from the Gare!

Very clean, affordable, and amazing location [within view of Bayeux Cathedral (the base of it, not just the tower)]. Good restaurant open below.
