Staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!
The hotel itself is extremely worn out, need to get some renovation!!! We will willing to pay a bit more if is after renovation!!!
Located just in center, close to everywhere Room is clean and have everything you need Person in reception is really attentive
Room was small, with view on the opposite wall of hotel, but I guess it was because it was cheapest room in the hotel :)
We liked the gracious and helpful staff, the fabulous location, the simplicity.
Some floor corners could have been swept out a bit better. The shower curtain definitely needed replacement, it was moldy and really unappealing on the bottom.
Location Helpful staff
The location was excellent, right in the middle centre of Avignon. It is acceptable for one night stays.
The room was small, old and dirty. No air conditioning.
Clean room, friendly staff, quiet room as we requested,no complaints,we both enjoyed our stay.
Nice Building from outside, very close to the palais des papes
situated at the main street and without aircondition it is impossible to sleep with open windows. There are many cars until 4.00 at night! The rest was o.k. but not like ***
near the center of the city
the equipements are a little old
Tiny Rooms Bed was like a hardboard plank Washing area only - Not a bath room Shower and Toilet area a disgrace Should not be allowed to be on Bookings.Com This is more suited to a cheap youth hotel and should not be allowed to advertise as a hotel 0 Stars
The location was good; this hotel looks out onto the Rue de la Republique and the Place de l'Horloge, which was especially cool during the arts festival that happens every year around the end of June.
The beds were very uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning, there were no effective shades on the windows, the shower handle was broken (you had to hold it with one hand while in the shower), the toilet leaked, and the room wasn't close to clean compared to all the other hotels we stayed in in France. With the windows open almost the whole time, it still managed to be warmer in the room than outside. Way too expensive for the services they provide.
located on the main street
cleanliness and comfort require improvement
Location - that was all.
Bathroom was awful. There was nowhere to put the shower on the wall so had to try and wash my hair whilst holding the shower head. No hooks for towels, no shelf for toiletries and the whole place smelt of disinfectant like a hospital.
No air condition. Only fan.
quit old and not clean
Good value for price paid. Excellent location for visiting all the sites.
In need of renovation.
Getting bitten by bed bugs daily - the noise from the air conditioning - NO AIR CONDITIONING.
The staff was very accommodating. They provide excellent guidance about local attractions. We had a lovely room with a view towards the Palace towers.
Breakfast could have had more variety
No AC and room was super hot. Wifi was extremely unstable.
Great location, being very central, value for money at the time of the year we stayed, during the Avignon Festival, staff were pleasant and very helpful, even allowed us to leave our bikes in the back of the restaurant.
Rooms were tight for space but adequate.
The noise at the room & not enough hair dryer
the location is really good.
good position, 24h services of reception desk
the room window can not open. very hot during the night.
Parking was in a commercial carpark some distance away. Had to carry suitcases from there. Hotel was quite old and rooms fairly basic.
The lady at the desk was delightful, with good english. She made us very welcome and was most helpful. Room had two double beds which suited us great. The view from the room opened onto the street. Right in the heart of the old town of Avignon. Great location.
no aurcon, fridge or coffee maling - seems all the historical places in france that we visited are like this - so we just had to get used to it and end and enjoyed the local fare.
The staff was helpful and cooperative.
