Breakfast is expensive, but there are nice boulangeries nearby offering food and drink at good value for money.
On one occasion the staff were a little over-eager to clean the room, despite there being a 'Do not disturb' sign on the door.
This hotel was in a wonderful location, near the tramway, parks, Old Nice and not too far from the beach or the station, with access to the rest of the Cote D'Azur, Monaco and even Italy.
Everything we needed in Nice, as tourists, was within walking distance, which we did to take in the stunning city, but public transport was also good quality.
The room was comfortable, with air conditioning (late-October in Nice is very warm) and the bathroom was adequate for our needs. We were not bothered at all by other guests.
The WiFi was free and great quality.
Our welcome was warm and the staff were happy to help: they looked after our luggage after we checked out because we had a later flight.
