Le Relais Montmartre  

The staff are most warm and friendly. Sweet gestures such as chocolates and a card and even a book. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated in country charm not to mention very clean. Nice soft bed and duvet. Great location as well as it is a minute away from the moulin rouge and metro. Probably my best experience of Paris.

The hotel is a charming typical parisian style hotel, room wasn't big but had a courtyard room with windows that opened to allow fresh air in if needed. Very quiet on that side of the building considering it is located in a little side street off the busy hub of cafes and people in Montmarte. Beds extremely comfortable with warm doonas, very clean , fresh good quality linen and decor lovely. Bathroom modern and very clean. I was very ill upon arriving at the hotel off a Tour of France and needed medical attendion. The receptionist on at the time found me a doctor, made a call and I had an appointment in40 mins. She even gave me a headache tablet on another occassion and directions to catch the bus. Nothing was too much trouble and each staff member was helpful and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay in lively Montemarte.

The only problem we had was the lift was tiny and with 2 suitcases and backpacks and ourselves it was a tight fit to get in. Probably only built for one person plus luggage comfortably. It is an old building though so may not be able to be improved on. We noticed the hallway and stairwell carpet probably is in need of replacement, although clean it showed it's age compared to the rest of the decor which was all very welcoming.

Before I've visited that hotel, I hated France hotels, but this one is perfect!! Located in a quite street, but around you can find all you need: cafes, shops, supermarkets etc. 3 metro station are just 5 minutes away by foot (3 different lines, that is very convenient). The stuff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and nice. We really enjoed our staying in this hotel!!!!!

Very comfortable bed with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The location is also excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

We had a front room and were awoken slightly earlier than we would have liked by the rubbish lorry each morning so double glazing would assist. Aside from that it was a quiet hotel on a quiet street which is unusual given it's in the heart of Montmarte and was lovely for it.

Excellent renovation of an old building. Very good interior design, beautiful colours, and very comfortable bed. Even an elevator was charming.(One person and one suitcase capacity) Believe that I will choose the same hotel when next time in Paris.

The street where the hotel is situated was not promising; however after entering the lobby everything changed to positive, including friendly and efficient personnel.

Excellent staff, superb location. 5 minute walk to Montmartre, 10 minute walk to Sacre Coeur, 1 minute walk to nearest metro.

The room was relatively small, but comfortable.

The location was very convenient for interesting area and central Paris. The hotel receptionist spoke excellent English and took a lot of trouble to help us get the best out of our stay, particularly providing us with a local map and recommending interesting places to visit locally and local restaurants providing excellent food at good value.
