Le Relais Montmartre  

I loved that it was on quiet, side street. Once on the main streets, you lacked for nothing. Cute, charming shops, restaurants of all varieties. The hotel itself was adorable and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location - well-positioned but quiet. Room small but very nice indeed and very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast there - would recommend Coquelicot in the Place des Abbesses. Many good restaurants in Montmartre - we went to La Balancoire (round the corner), Le Bouclard and Marguerite. All excellent.

Location is really great. Lovely bustling neighborhood in Montmatre. Lots of good restaurants - not touristy either which is amazing considering you are 100m from Moulin Rouge.

Always a quit and friendly place just in one of busiest and mostly crowded areas of Paris.

Loved being 100m from the Metro whilst also feeling like we were in a friendly community. Didn't have to walk more than 100m to find dozens of cafes, restaurants etc. Staff were very friendly.

Our room had a very couriously looking bright ping painted fake old wooden beams on the ceiling.

We loved this hotel- the staff are so helpful and our room was gorgeous. Perfect location, near the metro and Moulin Rouge. Perfect for a romantic trip.

Breakfast too expensive should be included in price. It's was nice but we did feel it was overpriced compared to 8 other hotels in Paris that I've stayed in. Receptionists always on the phone.

Great location. Wonderful and helpful staff. Larger room than I expected for Paris. V cosy, clean and comfortable. Near some excellent restaurants. Chez Toniette is a must. The hotel is very near the metro and you can grab a coffee and croissant at anyone of the many bakeries in the morning before a busy day of sightseeing. Cant wait to return to Paris and Le Relais Montmartre would never stay anywhere else in Paris. :)

The staff were consistently helpful and obliging. The room was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect, a quiet street in a central area. And the coffee was excellent!!

The hotel was beautiful and the front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy. For the price, in a big city, I thought this was an excellent hotel. Even though the weather was cold and occasionally rainy while we visited Paris, the comfort of this hotel helped make it a lovely trip. The location is great, with a lot of nice restaurants and little shops around the corner, with a metro stop a short walk away. Within a few minutes walk, La Parisienne was great for an inexpensive morning snack, and for a pricier but great meal, Le Basilic (the salmon on the fixed price appetizer/entree/dessert menu was fantastic). Overall, our initial reaction to the hotel was extremely positive and there were only a few negatives that we barely noticed during our stay.

The hotel was difficult to find as it is on a side street that was not on any of our maps. It would have been helpful to know it is 2 blocks directly behind the Moulin Rouge at the Blanche metro stop. The cleaning staff walked in on us a few times throughout our stay. A simple 'do not disturb' sign would have fixed the problem, but it did not appear the hotel used them. Also, the shower was set up in a rather silly way so that if you moved it would spray through the door and soak the floor. Either changing the doors on the shower to a different style, or fixing the shower head so it has the ability to point straight down would fix that.

We loved this hotel. I took my husband for his 30th Birthday and we were not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and even though we didn't speak that much French they were happy for us to try. The hotel has a lovely feel to it. Its decorated to a very typical Parisian feel, very tasteful and the continental breakfast which had a great selection. You can even cook your own boiled eggs. The location of the hotel is amazing, right up the road from the Moulin Rouge, within a few minutes Metro ride to the centre of Paris and a few minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur that offers amazing views of Paris. When we do come back to Paris we will most definitely stay here again without question. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special.

There is nothing!

I checked in on a Sunday night when many restaurants are closed. The evening receptionist took good care of me and called around to see if the restaurants she recommended could accomodate me and a friend for Sunday dinner. She also checked in with us after the dinner to see if everything went well. All this in a professional and very pleasant manner. I value such service.

Everything especially the frienfdly envirinment. I did not try the breakfast so I can't espress myself on this point.

This small hotel is in a beautiful old building, yet had an elevator--a boon to the older folks who really don't want to drag their bags upstairs. It was on a side street, so very peaceful. The rooms are small, but spotless and very pleasantly decorated. All bedding and curtains seem new and of high quality. The standards were more like a luxury hotel. The Blanche subway is a short 2 block walk, and he surrounding streets are full of shops and restaurants. Often we just purchased the delicious elements for a picnic in the room from one of the many the boulangeries and charcuteries in the neighborhood. It was very fast and easy on the subway to reach all the major sites. The staff is absolutely welcoming and lovely.

We are pretty fussy, but found all to be perfect.
