The manager & staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely, the room was quite spacious (for European standards) & clean. The area was quiet, but close to shops & cafes. Internet access was too slow. |

It was central near 4 metro stops and near gard du nord. Nice restaurants near by. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Air con is needed, as in july it gets very hot in paris |

Like the view on the roofs. Overbooked, got the "spare" room which was tiny, bulbs needed replacing, lots of broken stuff in the bathroom. Wifi advertised on website wasn't really available in the room. They offered to offer breakfast but I didn't have the time. Didn't offer any other compensation for loss of value. |

The Alba Opera was a quaint hotel hidden amongst Paris life and away from other mainstream hotels. Loved the lift and the atmosphere of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. One staff member gave out some french lessons as well!! Sometimes it felt a bit far away when we had been walking all day but it was about 15 mins away from Galeries Lafayette so it wasn't that bad. |

We were given a junior suite which was really spacious. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and our bags were taken to our room for us. We were given a map and advice of good reasonable restaurants by the proprieter. In the morning I requested breakfast in our room. A huge tray was delivered with both pots of tea and coffee and a generous selection of rolls croisants etc. |

kindliness and courtesy of staff, clean room, location - only 10-15 minutes of walking from the station soundproofing requires improvement or at least locate bed-head opposite the door not next to door as it was in my room |

Very friendly staff who did their utmost to help. Excellent, quiet location close to Gare du Nord and very easy to get to Montmartre and Opera. Good area, plenty of places to eat and drink. No large spacious lounge. No bar area, hence no opportunity to meet other guests.Would be useful if continental breakfast could be included in the price. Just a suggestion |
