Staff was very helpfull, rooms were clean
Location, poor internet connection, breakfast
Staff very helpful and ambiance exactly as you would expect in a Parisian hotel; the tiny elevator was brilliant; conveniently located close to Montmartre; one of the best hotels we ever stayed in in Paris; great, large familyroom, satisfying the needs of two teenage girls (which is quite something)!
No easy to find at first; given the sweltering temperatures (42C) the lack of airco was noticeable but bearable in the end with the large windows opening onto the courtyard below
Location Junior suite was great for family of 4 Generally clean with nice atmosphere
Some feature not updated Old doors and windows could be hard to open/close
Location, staff, room Size
No Aircon Bathroom was mediocre.
Location and hotels history
Very busy streets and really hard to find parking locally.
Location was pretty good
Breakfast limited, would be nice to have a wider choice.
Large room for our family with kitchen. Very Parisienne feel. Loved opening the windows to the courtyard.
Walls were thin but that is normal for an older building.
Wonderfully decorated in true Parisian style. Extremely helpful and friendly reception staff (in the main) and useful map and local area talk on arrival.
Night staff (short bald man) was very dismissive and repeatedly walked away while I was asking questions about transport. The rest of the staff were exceptionally good though!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
No complaints other than a very small one - it was raining quite heavily our first day in town and when we inquired about an umbrella, something they happen to offer in their hotel handbook, we were told that they did not have one. I think they should invest in more umbrellas for future use. Everything else was fantastic!
Very charming hotel, great location, friendly personal, nice room. just perfect Paris atmosphere.
- close to metro station - close to some attractions - good restaurants nearby - decor was nice
- the tiniest elevator I have ever seen - there was no place to store our luggage before our check-in and it was laid out in plain view
Wonderful location in the 9th Arondissement, lovely neighborhood. Very quirky and hip, boutique hotel. Very helpful booklet in room with location tips for the area. Close to 4 separate Metro stations and a good TI nearby.
All the staff save one, the Manager, were excellent and helpful. Monsieur Manager, however was almost a caricature of the snooty, unhelpful, tourist-hating Parisian.
I liked the quietness of this place. Very elegant and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff Nice decor Quick check in and out Stored luggage for few hours
Small elevator Slightly overpriced for room only
Reception Staff friendly and helpful Location good. 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord and Opera District Centre
Only French Speaking Chanels on Television Limited Breakfast No Aircon in rooms. Handheld shower.
The staff were very good and helpful, it was very clean and comfortable the location was great and great tp have free wifi.
The facilities could have been better, no coffee or tea was available in the room but Im sure if we asked for tea or coffee we could have been given some.
It's absolutely a morden yet a stylish hotel which I love it a lot. Every time when I back to hotel I can feel the beauty of Art of this hotel, feel like myself was just immersed into the Art. You can tell how much effort the owner has put into this hotel from the every little part of the decoration. And there was always some photographers and models were having a photo shoot at the lobby while almost every time I passed by. How beautiful!! And the staffs there even girls or guys were also dressed very stylish, young, and very friendly. The room is cozy and spacious enough for 2 people. Again, the decoration of the room is stylish and well design as well. About the location, it's just prefect as there is a Main Street just next to the hotel; cafe, restaurant, cake shop, pharmacy, boutique, brand name shop, flower shop.... All those shops can just let you walk or shopping for whole day. And it's close to metro station as well. As this price, I can say it is very reasonable! Highly recommend to anyone who looks for hip hotel or want to feel the Art Of Paris. ;)
Only 1 thing not good enough is the wifi connection. It sometimes either cut off or loading too slow.
Great location, quiet, easy to get to from Central Paris, very stylish and comfortable.
This is a quintessential Parisian hotel. That means it is boutique-like-- it is small but my room was quite spacious- esp for Paris. All rooms are different with interiors ranging from funky to charming. The staff is so helpful. Interior rooms with windows facing the courtyard are very quiet. The hotel is a bit buried in a great part of town. You may need Google maps to find your way back! Surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Really close to a lot of great sights and shopping (Galleries Lafayette for example).
If you do not have a European sensibility (ie: appreciate the oddities that are typically Parisian) then this may not be for you. Many rooms only have a bath with a hand-held shower, though some have a full-on shower with no bath. Each room is different.
Room was not very suitable for non couple
rooms are nice looking, cosy, nice equipped
A gorgeous quirky boutique hotel, great location, friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean. Had a balcony room which was spacious.
Great artistic and retro design. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly personnel, all of them ready to help and in several languages! Very good location, with several Metro stations nearby.
The staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. The location in Opera was good and the hotel was quiet, with no street noise - quite a rarity in Paris.
I had booked a junior suite as a bit of a luxury, but it was fairly basic and a bit run down. No shower only a bath, the downstairs room had a single sofa in it and then it was a steep climb up to the bed on a platform above. Certainly not the stylishly designed room as advertised.
I have been accustomed to stay in a location where I can watch the ordinary life in Paris. The hotel is located near to such streets.
