The room was large and had a seperate bedroom with queen sized bed. Good for parents. Nice central location for visiting sites at Normandy (ie: Omaha Beach, Pont du Hoc, American Cemetery, etc.). Free parking was nice. The staff is nice and speaks some English. The room was not very clean. Sheets were clean, but other bedding was not. Pillows were terrible. No bathtub for the kids and the tiny shower's drain backed up every time we used it, flooding the bathroom floor. WiFi was nice to have, but cost 3 Euro/hour. The room was very worn and shabby. The restaurant on site seemed nice, but was closed both nights we were there. |

Anneliese Johnson made our stay a real treat with her attention to detail.My uncle age 86, was at Omaha Beach on D Day and thought she was wonderful too. We cannot thank her enough. Please pass on our gratitude. All the staff were lovely and did not mind our poor French. x |

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the restaurant was excellent. The mattress of the double bed in our room was very worn and sunk in the middle. I would bet it has quite a few years of use on it! |

There was a resturant on site. We booked a family room and it was very adequate for our one night stay, however it would have been very cramped for a longer stay. It is also very convientent to Omaha and Utah beaches, which is why we were there; however there are some very nice B&B's and hotel right on Omaha Beach. The only menu at the resturant was in French, so it was hard ordering food, so make sure you know some French if you plan on eating at the hotel; however there is a McDonalds only a few miles away. |
