The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, 6 mis walk from the train station, and 4 mins walk from the old center of town, lovely restaurants around... All in all I would recomend it highly.. Not the most design concious place, but quaint and clean.

Great location. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. The tile in the shower was a little moldy; but, otherwise the rooms was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The room was spacious, clean - we even had an extra bed to sit on to watch tv. There were 3 chairs and enough room to comfortably hang out on a rainy day when we didn't want to be exploring. Breakfast was great and worth the 8.50e we paid. Bathroom only had bath, no shower, but was spacious, clean and we had lots of towels. Excellent location - 5 mins walk to the cathedral. Many cafes, restauraunts and a few supermarkets nearby. We would highly recommend for a nice hotel on a budget.

Located on a street with trams running 5am to12.30am, need the windows open because the rooms get stuffy , no other ventilation, but too noisy.

The Hotel is very well located for exploring Strasbourg. It is very close to the old city. Despite booking well over a week in advance and asking for adjoining rooms (6 people in the family) we were told when we arrived that it was too late to get adjoining rooms (they had not looked at our request). Also the parking is only for very small cars - ours would not fit. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the rooms are quite dated. The lift was broken when we were there (and we were on level 2 and 3) and the stairwells were quite offensive. The foyer was very smoky and some of the desk staff were rude.

Very pefect. Our room is away from the street so it is quiet in the night. Just 5minutes walking to the railway station. And there is a surper market beside the hotel,a great location to the beautiful view.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. The location was great. Very close to the station and Le Petite France. The rooms are set back away from the road so its quiet and we got a good nights sleep. There is a lovely courtyard in the middle where you can stop and relax, have a picnic. Not really anything but a kettle in the room would make it perfect.

The hotel is located just a couple of meters away from Petite France and the rest of the historic center of Strasbourg. Moreover, we stayed on the quiet side of the building away from the main street so the quality of sleep was excellent. I also appreciate that the hotel offers a garage - searching for a parking spot in this part of Strasbourg would take a while. The shower was a bit too small for my taste.

Convenient to train station and Petite France area. Woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Nice courtyard. Comfortable room. Price was good. This particular block was a little seedy and there were drunken men on the street.

Proximity to train station and historic district. Staff spoke English. Street-facing room was extremely hot and noisy. Trams running below and loud people on street made it impossible to sleep. Bathroom was inadequate and dirty. Sink sprayed water over everything. No ventilation (a fan would have been nice). One window would not open. Breakfast wasn't worth €8.

Stayed only for one night. Close enough to city center. Big bed. Clean room. TV set with many channels. Breakfast is rather expensive (8.5 euro). Shower cabin is small.

We had a room overlooking the terrace. It was comfortable, quiet, and the hotel is convenient for walking to most things. The room was small but clean, and we thought it served our purposes well - a fine place to get a good night's sleep - especially for the price. The street that the hotel is on is not the nicest street in town, but it's close to the train station and you can easily walk or take the tram to some of the more popular areas.

“Hotel Kleber was a good choice for us as it was a clean and well-run establishment near to most attractions in Strasbourg. The room was nicely appointed, staff courteous and efficient and while not inexpensive, was reasonably priced. Breakfasts were quite good and my vegatarian daughter was able to find a good variety of foods.” Ted, Alexandria |
